WINGS FOR CONSERVATION
Go there and contact
Created in March 2016, the Non-governmental Organization Wings for Conservation calls for donations to help rescue the elephants of Chad. As a victim of poaching for its ivory, the population of these African giants has been largely decimated, reaching fewer than 1 000 individuals today. Faced with the threat of their complete disappearance, specialists from all walks of life gathered together to pool their skills. Together, they assist the Chadian Government in the development of the species-saving process, particularly in setting up an aerial monitoring programme for conservation areas to identify poachers. The donations collected are used directly for the purchase of the aircraft and its shipment to Chad to allow better protection of the site.
