Its convenient location, close to Tarrafal beach, is its main asset. However, it should be noted that most of the hotel's rooms either have no outside windows or have small windows, which can give a feeling of confinement. Some rooms face the front of the hotel and have large windows, which is preferable for a longer stay. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, and staff are discreet. The hotel also has a bakery/snack bar on the first floor and serves a decent breakfast. Wi-Fi is not available in all rooms. Free parking is available for guests.

Fomos ao hotel Cachoeira, apenas para almoçar, pois estava de passagem pelo Tarrafal a trabalho.
Parámos para comer e acima de tudo, saciar a sede que o calor Cabo Verdiano, nos provocava.
Começamos bem, ao pedir uma "noiva Creola" e ela, assim como a outra, veio de véu e grinalda para a mesa de tão gelada que estava.
Depois, para repor as fibras, pedimos a picanha grelhada, pois sentíamos o cheiro a carvão aceso, e lá veio ela, no ponto, a fazer-se acompanhar por um arrozinho branco, espectacular, com uma salada refrescante, de alface e tomate.
Estava bom, mas nada bateu as cervejas que fomos pedindo e, sempre com um sorriso nos lábios, nos foram trazendo geladas e alvas.
Voltarei um dia.

Pour environ 5000 escudos la nuit (45€), l'hôtel Cachoeira propose des chambres spacieuses, très propres, avec sanitaires privés (douche, WC, eau chaude) et climatisation. L'accueil est agréable, pas francophone mais on se débrouille en anglais de part et d'autre. La situation de l'hôtel, à deux pas de la plage et du centre, est idéale. Une bonne adresse pour les budgets moyens.
