Brest's new media library welcomes you to the former Capuchin workshops. It extends over 9,700 m ² and three levels. In this modern and industrial décor, you will find 120,000 documents in free access (books, BD, beautiful books, Dvds, CD), 900 seats, an auditorium, workrooms, computers, reading rooms and games spaces for small and large. Not to mention enthusiastic librarians! A living cultural space open to all.

The media library is considered a multi-modal platform for the service of crop vectors. Opened in 2000, the Médiathèque library is a nearby cultural and social establishment accessible to all. Just behind the Jaude center, on the very pleasant Aragon Square, this media library offers a wide selection of documents of all kinds; press, readers, novels, music, computers, movies, a whole story for children. The subscription card allows you to consult all the media in the Metropole. The books are not always very intuitive, but the staff is available and welcoming.

Throughout the year, the media library offers a wide range of free events: readings, story times, film screenings, conferences... From Saturday July 8, the library will be undergoing a year-long energy-efficiency renovation. It will still be possible to borrow from other media libraries with the network card. From October 2, the media library will be present in the Arsenal building at its current opening hours, while the media bus will be parked on the media library forecourt until July 6, 2024.

The Médiathèque du Marsan was built in an emblematic sector of the city of Mont-de-Marsan, that of the Bosquet barracks and the 6th Parachute Regiment of the Marine Infantry. Located right in the center of town, a stone's throw from Les Halles, this media library is housed in a huge four-storey building. Each level is equipped with reading lights, small lounges, tables... and is dedicated to children and teenagers, human and social sciences, Béarn and Aquitaine, literature... It's a bright, modern cultural center. Digital readers can be borrowed or consulted on site. Internet access provides access to numerous press nuggets. Plus: a 200 m² exhibition room and a 120-seat auditorium.

We rarely think about it, but these places are also open to visitors! More than 4000 m 2 of space dedicated to adult and youth reading, an expo room, multimedia, art literature, everything is planned to inform you and to grow your way. A kiosk, well filled, offers newspapers and magazines of all kinds, recently released; It's convenient and nice to be able to read the newspaper in a good armchair, (without having bought it… and yes… it's the crisis…) after you have done the tour of the city or when it rains. The young, certainly, will come up during this time, on the floor, in the last comics. But… chut! We speak low voices in the library, so as not to inconvenience others, that is imperative.

Located on two floors of a building combining concrete and glass, this media library offers clear and clear spaces. More than 50,000 documents (books, magazines, BD, CD, DVD, partitions) are lent or can be consulted on site. For science and technology farus, a space is dedicated to it with almost 7,000 documents. But the media also offers other services: home loan, handy document boxes, lockers and Internet access to subscribers. We also love the dynamism of the team with animations, exhibitions and meetings organized throughout the year for children, young people and adults. The youth, disco and multimedia sector on Wednesday and Saturday at the same time, Tuesday and Friday only in the afternoon. In summer the library opens on Wednesday, Friday afternoon and Saturday.

This media library specializes in the arts. In total, it contains over 73,000 documents: books, magazines, CDs, recorded texts and DVDs on dance, theater, film and the visual arts, as well as a local collection on Val Maubuée and Seine-et-Marne. By registering with the library, you will also be able to borrow documents free of charge from other libraries in Val Maubuée towns.

Rich in 16 000 documents, its thematic fund focuses on painting, from mural painting to contemporary painting through Impressionism.

With some 10 000 documents, this library has developed a musical thematic fund of 3 800 documents in which all genres are represented.

Inaugurated in 2006, this library is located in the Cultural Centre of Ferme Corsange. With some 12 000 documents - books, cds, cassettes, dvds and cd-books - it includes, in addition, 70 press titles, 3 multimedia posts, 2 access posts for the computer catalogue, 1 of which are accessible to the wrong and non-sighted, 1 DVD consultation post. It also has a thematic fund dedicated to the film adaptation of literary works.

Designed by the architects Paul Chemetov and Borja Huidobro, the library whose work began in April 2004 opened its doors at the 2007 Heritage Days in the heart of the urban centre, between the RER RER station and the university centre of the Val d'Europe. In addition to its very important fund, it is set up for the comfort of blind and visually impaired with access to the collections of the library library using specific software - speech synthesis, Braille printing. It is also the place of learning and languages with the tools necessary for initiation and upgrading in essential knowledge - French and foreign languages, mathematics… - using innovative software. A 120-seat auditorium and 12 multimedia consultation stations complete this equipment.

Located in the Priory's cultural centre, the Médiathèque library has a general fund of 16 000 documents: books, books-cassettes, cds… of 4 500 journals - 85 press titles - and 4 multimedia consultation posts, and above all an important thematic fund devoted to the youth image book. In the footsteps of Jean de Brunhoff and his Babar character born in Chessy, 2 300 image albums tell in colour the history of this particular narrative mode in youth literature.

This beautiful 4,000 m² space, spread over five levels, offers four different sections: youth, adults, studies and heritage. In all, it contains some 120,000 documents. The ancient collection is particularly noteworthy: incunabula, autograph letters by Bossuet, illuminated manuscripts such as the ^13th-century Roman de Renart. In short, an ideal place for those wishing to deepen their knowledge of Meaux's history before or after their visit! A second media library, the smaller Chenonceau media library, is located in the Espace Caravelle.

Located in the heart of Tarbes, located in the Massey Garden, the ecological, botanical, and environmental lung of the city, the media library offers many services and enables all of them to immerse themselves in the world of culture, reading or music: 23 000 books for adults, 17 000 books for youth, 6 000 cd and 50 000 documents.
