Brest's new media library welcomes you to the former Capuchin workshops. It extends over 9,700 m ² and three levels. In this modern and industrial décor, you will find 120,000 documents in free access (books, BD, beautiful books, Dvds, CD), 900 seats, an auditorium, workrooms, computers, reading rooms and games spaces for small and large. Not to mention enthusiastic librarians! A living cultural space open to all.

A landmark venue in Illzach, Espace 110 makes a major contribution to the cultural life of the town and beyond. Here, you can discover the originality and audacity of the creations of the Compagnie des Rives de l'Ill, directed by Thomas Ress, the director of this cultural complex. Of course, Espace 110 also features theater and dance, as well as an eclectic musical program and numerous exhibitions and conferences, each more interesting than the last. For 30 years this year, Espace Mendès France has seized the current social topics to highlight them with audiences of all ages through exhibitions, conferences, round tables, shows and workshops. At the foot of the famous four open book towers, the BnF's reading rooms provide access to countless books. Just about everything that appears or has appeared in France can be found here. Impressive, isn't it? The rooms of the Library for the general public (Haut-de-jardin) are open to everyone, provided they are at least 16 years old. It is the place where you will find encyclopedic collections with free access (books, periodicals, audiovisual). The rooms of the research library (Garden Floor) are open to academics and to anyone, professional or not, who explains why it is necessary for them to immerse themselves in the specific collections of the library. All year round, major exhibitions, meetings, screenings, concerts, guided tours and workshops are organized in this temple dedicated to books.

The media library is considered a multi-modal platform for the service of crop vectors. The Bibliothèque Saint-André, built in 1988 in a former school in Marseille, offers a space for culture and relaxation in the heart of the city. With a varied collection of 27,000 books, CDs, DVDs and periodicals, it caters for readers of all ages and tastes. It also offers free wifi access. If you want to rub yourself into an unknown discipline, the Maison de la culture Armenian. Jérôme Kadian teaches Systema, a Russian martial art that looks almost like Asian disciplines. In the form, no salvation, tactics or figures imposed. This form of battle, which is more than ten centuries old and developed under the Soviet regime, could be akin to self-defence. Opened in 2000, the Médiathèque library is a nearby cultural and social establishment accessible to all. It offers more than 130 000 documents (magazines, books, Cds, Dvds…) and offers animations for children around tales, movies and concerts, but also adults, with debates and exhibitions… It is a rich, pleasant and warm place where you can spend time.

The operation of the Bellefeuille Square is a house of cultural representations. Dances, songs, ballets, operas, music, humour and music-hall are available all year round. This venue has two rooms of 621 places (14 PMR) and 89 places (3 PMR). La Carré Bellefeuille also hosts festivals such as BBmix, which brings together rock, progressiste, and all modern music from all over the world. Resolutely modern but also classic for the most talented, space makes every effort to ensure that the show continues.

With more than 7,000 books, the Library For All, located in the Brécourt district, is located in the Puzzle, a cultural space well known to the inhabitants. For a modest annual subscription fee, everyone can choose their reading material according to their tastes: thrillers, comic books, mangas or novels, for example. The volunteers who run the place are very kind. This nice place is also well known by the locals, as it is also a children's centre and a home for young people, who indulge in their hobbies here.

The association Lecture en Tête is a benchmark for the promotion of contemporary literature in Laval and France. Since 1992, it has organized the Festival du Premier Roman, which spotlights young literary talent. But Lecture en Tête doesn't stop there, offering meetings with authors throughout the year as part of its literary season. The association is also behind a writing residency in Mayenne and the Prix Littéraire du 2e roman. In short, Lecture en Tête provides access to the diversity of today's literature.

Just behind the Jaude center, on the very pleasant Aragon Square, this media library offers a wide selection of documents of all kinds; press, readers, novels, music, computers, movies, a whole story for children. It also offers reading evenings and an excellent program of animation, media education. There is an exchange of seeds, some beautiful sustainable development initiatives. The subscription card allows you to consult all the media in the Metropole. The books are not always very intuitive, but the staff is available and welcoming.

This space, with a capacity of 408 to 666 places, also has an exhibition hall where you can organise general meetings, congresses or shows (at 21 h). Quality programming from October to April. And under study, the transformation of the Espace Jéliote, in «Stage Agreement», the Ministry of Culture already engaged in support of theatre, opera, street arts… could imagine helping the development of another art, the puppet… A boon for Oloron!
