Founded in 1986 by a passionate team, the association aims to host volunteers every summer to enhance the country's heritage. Young people between the ages of 16 and 18 can participate with a participation of € 230 for 12 days. Repairs of walls, washing, the learning of masonry techniques and the laying of lime coatings are the activities carried out without forgetting a few sporting «breaks» with hiking or kayaking or visiting the surrounding area. This association also provides a guided tour of the village, every Sunday from Easter to late September at 16 pm. In July and August, visits take place Monday to Friday from. The Departmental Archives holds wealth! Documents of the Old Regime that were confiscated during the Revolution, the administrative archives, the press and the books of local history. All these documents represent no less than 18 linear km of documents, from the th century to the present. A treasure trove of priceless lorrain heritage that the public can consult. The archives department regularly hosts exhibitions, the programme of which is available at the tourist office.

The association brings together 20 sites in Cathar country  : castles, abbeys and museums bring you to the heart of the Cathar tragedy and invite you to relive this troubled period of Western medieval history.

A national memory association whose objective is knowledge of deportation for reasons of homosexuality. Its action targets public and educational authorities and all LGBT actors by organising exhibitions and commemorations. She is very pleased to be present in any commemoration for the memory of the victims of the Second World War. 

The association Reveal Ma Colline is designed to contribute to the enhancement of the heritage of Stéphanois and its defense. Through the organization of visits, conferences, exhibitions and other events as well as the publication of articles and books, the association contributes to bringing to the knowledge of all audiences the history of Saint-Etienne and its agglomeration, its urban and architectural development. The association may seek policies or even take legal action if necessary to defend the heritage. Managed by the "Al Pais de Conceived" association since 1998, the house presents the natural and cultural heritage of the gorges of Aveyron and the Adapter Valley. It deals with various activities year-round: Free or commented visits, country tours in Midi-Quercy and Resource centre "Environment, Heritage and Sustainable Development" for free access. This innovative structure in the area of eco-tourism to develop, gives itself the means of its ambitions with the sense of hospitality and professionalism.

This association affiliated with the union R.E.M.P.A.T. - group of volunteer associations for the development and preservation of French heritage - is located in the castle.

The Association Nationale Etudes et Chantiers works closely with regional associations to develop volunteer projects in France and abroad. Gathered within ANEC, these associations organize workshops based on the values of sharing, solidarity and respect for differences.

What does ils  offer?International work camps allow volunteers - from the age of 14 - to work in favour of local development and the general interest. They concern the development of natural areas and the restoration of heritage and aim to improve the living conditions of local populations (building a village's bread oven, cleaning the banks of a river, organizing a festival, creating activities...).

It should not be forgotten that ANEC also offers projects in France (Ile-de-France, Grand Est, Midi-Pyrénées and Rhône-Alpes, Auvergne, etc.).

Prices and conditions. No special qualifications. Be between 14 and 17 years old for teenagers and between 18 and 25 years old for adults (17 years old with parental authorization and first experience in teenagers' workcamps). Under the aegis of the European Union, young people aged 18 to 25 can participate in European Voluntary Service (EVS) or Civic Service, for a period of 6 months to 1 year, particularly in Asia.

The Association Le Mat - Village Coopératif du Viel Audon is reviving a hamlet in Balazuc that has been abandoned for over a century. Thousands of volunteers are taking up the challenge of restoring this place, which is brimming with 50 years of history, thanks to a participative worksite. Today, this isolated eco-location, accessible only on foot, offers a holiday to suit all tastes and budgets.
