Created in 1926, the FDC41 carries out public service missions as defined by the French Environment Code. Approved as a nature conservation organization since 1992, it helps to promote the department's natural heritage and protect wildlife and its habitats. As part of its mission, the FDC41 has widely developed nature education and offers a wide range of activities for all publics. Through its actions, it makes a significant contribution to raising awareness and preserving biodiversity in the département.

The Fédération Départementale des Chasseurs des Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, based in Digne-les-Bains, is responsible for managing hunting in the département. The Federation also offers online and face-to-face training courses, as well as information on hunting safety and barrier practices. In addition to its hunting-related activities, the Federation is also committed to the defense of biodiversity and rurality.

The federation's website provides information on hunting and hunting practices in the department, as well as on the evolution of hunting legislation, from decrees to laws and petitions. The Atelier La lame de la vallée dorée-couteau Le Vernissé is the place to be for lovers of top-of-the-range, handcrafted knives. Marcel Canals, the creator, designs and manufactures the famous "Le Vernissé" knife, entirely in France. The workshop offers a wide range of handle materials, including natural wood, fruitwood and even exotic woods. Visitors can also discover Marcel's latest creations, including the new "Le Vernissé-le-Rustique" knife. For those wishing to learn how to make their own knife, the workshop offers a two-day training course. The workshop has its own parking lot and is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Languages spoken are French and Spanish.

The House of Hunting and Nature is located at the head office of the Oise Hunters'federation. Here you can find out about the calendar and hunting licence (€ 132 for small game and € 16 for big game). You will also find plenty of information about wildlife and the agro-forest balance through exhibitions.

The forests of the Black Mountain, the Grésigne and the Sidobre offer majesteueux spaces, where the hunters will be happy and can enjoy their passion in all its forms. In fact, fox hunting, mass game hunting or solo hunting are practiced. You can hunt on small game (hare, quail or woodcock) and big game like wild boar, deer or deer. 

More than 8 700 hunters in Savoy spread over more than 300 Registered Hunting Associations (ACCA). The department is rich in game, large or small, mountain or plain, birds, migrants, but also predators. The federation provides advice, training for hunters, training days of hunting school, issuing permits, but also manages wildlife and carries out monitoring of species, particularly in health management.

Many species: heavenly pheasant, from Marsay, crooked U.S, Polish crooked, Chinese pheasant, dark pheasant, red perdreau and perdreau gray all year long and have only to be found. The image of the hunters has not changed much for many years, yet whether they like them or not, they have a major role to play in preserving our wilderness. Although it seems contradictory, they are working to protect the environment. On the federation site, everything is explained and developed: educational activities with children, but also awareness of the natural space of hunters. It is also the federation that will have to address its hunting license.

It has been practised for hundreds of years. It is with vertical nets, quite unique in the region, that the hunters are waiting for the pigeon pigeon. The hunt takes place every fall from 1 October to 18 November. A hike marked at the beginning of the village leads you to the place of capture of the famous migrants.

It is in a magnificent area of 550 hectares closed at the doors of Salon de Provence that you can come satisfied your passion. You'll be able to come hunting small and big game. Since September 2008, the field has received a new activity: the shooting on wild boar. Notice to amateurs! A fire tunnel to try and settle the weapons, a 600 m 2 pond with animations and demonstrations, framed by a team of 26 passionate professionals.

From Châteauneuf to Saint-Maixme-Hauterive and from Jaudrais to Torçay, the forest of Châteauneuf-en-Thymerais covers over 1730 hectares. The ideal place to observe wood animals and to introduce to forestry, taking into account tree tree essences in the forest, the Thymerais area is also a testimony to the region's royal past. Hikers in the forest will be able to walk through the royal driveway or walk around the King's or France's circle. In these places you will also discover some kinds of stone obelisks, surprising in the heart of wood but real, which dates from the th century and which probably served as ralliement for fox hunters.

The Fédération départementale is responsible for managing large game, mainly deer and wild boar, when it comes to limiting the damage they cause to crops and natural vegetation. In the case of wild boar, efforts are concentrated on the Landes de Gascogne, where this suidae is on the increase.
