Altore was founded in Saint-Florent in 1993 by two sporty brothers, Olivier and Stéphane Leonetti. Subsequently, other outdoor activity sites were developed in Île-Rousse and Calvi, to the delight of thrill-seekers! In Saint-Florent: paragliding and microlighting. Calvi: "A Scimia Calvese" tree adventure course on the pinewood beach. In Balagne, paragliding with tandem flights. Flying sites: Montemaggiore, Lozari, Algajola, Corbara, Ostriconi, depending on wind direction and strength.

Established in the Louron valley since 1996, the Virevolte paragliding school offers a complete range of free-flight experiences. Its services include tandem paragliding baptisms, courses supervised by qualified instructors, and access to state-of-the-art equipment, both new and second-hand, thanks to its store. From the age of 4, you can embark on a discovery flight, during which the instructor shares his passion and, conditions permitting, offers you the chance to take the controls.

Accompanied by Joël, a qualified and highly experienced professional, you'll have the opportunity to take a tandem flight to discover or deepen your knowledge of paragliding. The youngest among us, from the age of 4, can take part in discovery flights, as can the less young, right up to an advanced age! Please note, however, that it takes around 45 minutes in total, including preparation, access to the summit for take-off, flight and landing. The flights are safely accessible to all, including people with reduced mobility.

The flying club Les Ailes du Mézenc offers paragliding initiation and improvement courses. Well integrated in the local life, this club allows to discover magnificent landscapes by taking height. Founded in 1977, it's the oldest free flight school in France and one of the largest FFVL-approved. The team of 8 state-certified instructors selects the best weather slots for theory or practice, with a formula adapted to each individual. The main focus is on teaching free flight. About fifty kilometres from Strasbourg, between the Vosges, the foothills and the plains, small valleys, including the Zorn valley, invite you to contemplate. This is where the Aéro-Zorn Paragliding and Paramotor Club lives, which has about sixty members, mainly between Dabo in Moselle and Saverne in Bas-Rhin. The Cumulus paragliding school, which has been operating since 1993, offers tandem flights as well as courses for those wishing to learn this activity in complete safety. With a dynamic, competent and experienced team, visitors can discover and learn paragliding in the best possible conditions. Cumulus also has a store where enthusiasts can find paragliding equipment.

Besides its activities as manufacturer and importer of spare parts for gliders and gliders, this company is also a well-equipped ULM school. Possibility of baptism: tandem and ULM piloté. This base is located about kilometres south of Thonon, near Perrignier.
