All this is closely related because the taïko is a drum carved in the trunk of a keyaki (Caucase elm) which by the strength, the resonance and the power of the sounds it produces makes the whole body and also the soul vibrate. Its practice extends far beyond the boundaries of musical learning since it develops vitality, well-being, suppleness… It should be said that Tsunagari Taïko Center advocates the ancestral principle of the anchor named hara, which tends to manage energy at the pelvis level. As for awa or awa-odori dance, it is danced to the rhythm of the taïkos.
