Read moreThe 12 th edition of this festival not like the others is even more exciting than the previous ones! Happenings, projections, various expos take place for three days in various places in Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines: to the theater, to Saint Pierre-sur-l 'Haste church, to the Café du Parc and to the Savonnerie, but also to the municipal swimming pool! Music, in all its forms, serves as a red thread between the projection of a movie on Nick Cave and the forefirst of the stories of Rodolphe Burger (film directed by Yvan Schreck on the heights of Orbey), the opening of a photo expo by Jacques Higelin, and of course pop concerts., rock, electro… Genres blend, cultures break around around artists… and real sizes. In the Silver Val d 'Argent of the creators as diverse as Olivier Cadiot, Herman Düne, Jeanne Balibar, Rachid Taha, Dominique A or Thomas Dutronc… This year Laurent Garnier, Jeanne Added, Erik Truffaz, Winter Family and other friends of Kat Onoma decided to answer!

Read moreEvery summer, the districts of Boutonnet and Beaux-Arts are animated to the rhythm of the brass, percussion and other instruments that parade through their streets. During a lively and festive weekend, the team of L'Arc-En-Ciel des Faubourgs organizes a series of activities around music. In 2019, for the 24th edition, the festival took place as follows: brass bands from 8pm to midnight on Friday, garage sales on Saturday morning and celebrations in the afternoon and evening. The latter saw 19 brass bands ignite the two stages of the event for 2h30 of concert. Finally, between 7pm and 1am, the districts were transformed into a real dance floor with the Fanfares festival.

Read moreIt's the only book village north of Paris. In 2006, Esquelbecq took up the challenge of becoming a book village. All year round, the village offers a wide range of events, including a book market, literary aperitif, reading salon, meetings with authors and exhibitions. The highlight of the year is the Nuit des livres, a major event held every year on the first weekend in July. It will take place on July 6, 2024. Esquelbecq's exceptional setting, a blend of rurality and interesting architectural buildings (Hallekerke Saint-Folquin, château...), is in keeping with the ambitions of facilitating access to literary expression and culture for as many people as possible, but also with the promise of visiting a pretty corner of culture in Flanders.
