BAR DES DEUX MONDES

Fan bar
5/5
1 review

An urban planning project created a few years ago, Place Montcalm is a good fit for this neighborhood bar. Les Deux Mondes was able to install its large terrace on the central median and on both sides of the semi-pedestrian street. As soon as the weather is fine, the brasserie formula at lunchtime or the full salad plates attract a lot of people. Here, no fuss is made, it's a good, relaxed place to eat. The service is pleasant and warm; here you are not rushed to take your coffee and free the place, the key word is enjoy.

BEDFORD ARMS

Fan bar

Closed - Open to 21h00

The Bedford is a true institution in the heart of rue Princess, which could be renamed, in reference to its Rennes counterpart, at Rue de la Soif. With its unlikely red carpet and cricket paintings, you can suddenly find it across the English Channel. The Bedford is part of these rare bars that close well after two o'clock in the morning, so it's nice to stay there or even to finish the evening to remake the world. But beware, it's hard to be accepted. If you want just to get drunk, go your way! This night bar is frequented by regulars, but also by students who is looking for dating. On weekends, it is crowded and the crowd invades the cobbled street of rue Princess.

Not to be missed when you come to Perpignan. A favourite place for students, rugby players, young and old, the Tio Pepe is an institution of Perpignan nights! "Tapas y fiesta" the tone is set. High place of the student parties and the third half-time, the two bars, the billiard room and the patio are often full, even in terrace. It's unanimous, it's young, but not only that, it's above all festive, ideal for those who want to get away from their books, from the scrum or simply have a drink!

There is a very warm atmosphere in this pub! This bar proposes to refresh itself by taking advantage of a happy hour from 15 to 3 h depending on the sign that orne its terrace! You can also eat cheese and cheese trays, or a simple sausage, but you can also dine there. It's not the great restoration, but it's good and the atmosphere and the rates charged quickly forget these little disadvantages. This bar is also perfect for those who want to come and see a game between friends with a beer and a little meal like a pizza!

LE VICTOR HUGO

Fan bar

The Victor Hugo is brand new and beautiful with a terrace (ideal for smokers). The establishment does its best to welcome its customers. They are considered a bit like family owned. During football evenings on the big screen there is a great atmosphere on board. Its wooden tables and stone walls give this place a soul of character. So for a little cream, an aperitif or a small snack, don't hesitate. There is also a nice little wine cellar for you to enjoy, for those who like it. Internet access, small press corner, tobacco and sale of figurines for children.

LA CAGE

Fan bar

La Cage comes all the way from Quebec, for the first time in France! The concept is crazy: a sports brasserie with 220 seats inside and 140 on the terrace. And above all, plenty of screens showing matches. The giant 40 m² screen (the largest in France) is impressive, and so is the bar! Even the tables are arranged in tiers, just like at the movies. The over-trained team serves Blitz burgers, poutines, ribs, Québec Mule, maple syrup Spritz... The menu is clearly on the Canadian bench!

LE CAFÉ DES BRUMES

You can't miss the Café des Mist. Its terrace is open all year round, enjoying the shelter of the arcades where you can enjoy Sunday the bal of the walkers of the market and take a look at the possible rarities to find in the nearby brac. Inside, a friendly and warm atmosphere: You can enjoy the comfort of the big benches and to change the ideas to the flat screen on which to continuously pass variety clips. The footeux will also have their 90 minutes to accompany the Malherbistes (in their exploits?) at the time of the games retransmission. These animations provide a great deal of passage to the Café des Mist, including the afternoons, since you can eat it at a good price!

BAHIA CAFÉ

Fan bar

Dedicated balls deposited as trophies on the shelves, key photos and mêlées on the walls: the tone is given. If it is a bar in Chartres where rugby is king, it is indeed Bahia. All rugby matches are broadcast live on large screens, and fans are always loyal to the appointment. Top 14, H Cup, Six Nations Tournament, World Cup, friendly games: nothing, nothing, nothing - and, above all, the friendly atmosphere that makes the bar famous. Whether it's on the terrace or in the room with bright colors, you'll be at the front door to watch each match with a drink between friends… Notice, therefore, to lovers of ovalie!

SIX NATIONS

Fan bar

Ideally located on Place Jean Jaurès, this new pub is set to become the meeting place for lovers of draught beers and live music. With its traditional decor, the place seems to have come straight out of a song by Shane MacGowan, the charismatic, toothless lead singer of the Pogues. Fish and chips, burgers, hot dogs: the great classics of Anglo-Saxon cuisine are served here, to be enjoyed while watching a rugby or soccer match, or a live music concert at the weekend. In summer, you can take advantage of the lovely shaded terrace.
