Isabelle and Jean Bouclet's puppet theatre company opened its doors and carries out more than a thousand performances per year, in the city or on the move for a 2-year-old audience. In years'time, this company has been a name and a place in the sun among French puppeteers. Set in an old building built by their care, this small company has a dozen versatile members who look after the design of the decor and puppets, stories and music. Some 150 performances are given each season and a travelling exhibition of puppets also awaits visitors. Production courses are organized for all ages.

Artists and the public are invited to sit in a setting with velvet seats, red and golden balconies, in an Italian theatre decor. The hall offers impeccable acoustics and is the venue for all kinds of shows: boulevard theatre, performances by the Rhine Opera, concerts by the Conservatory of Music, dance and drama. Ideally located on the Quai de Rive-Neuve, Badaboum Théâtre has dedicated its programming to young audiences for over 25 years. The shows and schedules are adapted for very young children, from 3 to 12 years old. On the program: puppet shows, story readings, circus shows and small fairy tales. A snack extends these moments of escape from poetry and history. Workshops and workshops in theatre, circus and dance are also offered during the week and during the holidays, mainly for 5-12 year olds, and occasionally for young actors.
