Since 1945, this establishment on two levels is one of the favourite places for music lovers afro-cuban and more widely latin. Zouk, salsa, beguine, samba... The Urban Club, though small, offers a great musical ambience, favoring programming far removed from commercial trends. Modern and metallic, it favors intimate encounters. Music videos are played on the walls, and the bartender offers specialties much appreciated by shooters. Right in the center of town, it has plenty of parking spaces. Fred, the owner, offers a warm welcome (and a strong character) to customers aged 18 to 70, and he's keen to mix the generations! An ideal place to dance in a lively atmosphere, despite the limited space.

It is in the very chic neighborhood of rue François-I^er and rue Marbeuf that you will find Le Doobie's, a restaurant lounge that attracts customers from 8th and 16th arrondissements. On the menu, inspired by Italian and French cuisine, you'll find classic dishes revisited with a modern touch. The place is transformed into dancing bar after the dinner, in a relaxed and festive atmosphere. However, you are not obliged to eat there, the idea is to go and see if the atmosphere getting up around 2:00am. As for the music, only one rule: no house or techno! Something different…

Right at the entrance to Vieux-Nice, on the edge of the Place du Palais de Justice, this is one of Nice's must-visit establishments at any time of day. From tea tasting, to aperitif time when you enjoy a good fruit cocktail accompanied by complimentary tapas, and later when the place transforms into a nightclub, the party's in full swing and the prices are sweet. Known for its 80s-style Thursday nights, the atmosphere remains convivial and danceable, with talented bands and DJs performing.

In our tiny living room, we really missed this Petit Salon. We even missed this neighborhood nestled along a railroad line in the ^7th arrondissement! In this nightlife spot, lovers of electro music, but also lovers of disco in another style, gather in two rooms with totally different decorations. One room is high-tech and contemporary, with images that punctuate the music. The other is decorated in the Empire style. A highly specialized program featuring the crème de la crème of DJs and musicians. Le Petit Salon also hosts exhibitions.

The club Jean Roch, the first in a long list, is one of the high places of the nights tropéziennes, where you can eat with the sound of a disk jockey, then dance on a music "house" until dawn, mixed by famous DJS, accompanied by star of international renown.

The famous Ponche club, the only one open all year, for more than 50 years, small cellar separated in 2 rooms, the bar and the other for the dance floor, is the temple of the turbulent and festive nights, where all musical genres, music, dance, disco, electro, r'n'b and world music.

Le Coup d'Etat is the after-dinner club along the Canal de Brienne, not far from Place St-Pierre. It's sure to please night owls and early risers alike. The latter can meet up and get fired up to the rhythm of the decibels. Here, the doors open in the early hours of the morning when all other nightclubs close. So, whatever your pace of life or stamina, you can curl up warmed by the beautiful brick vault of this secretly guarded venue! Naturally, the clientele is rather young, between 25 and 30 years of age, with a very deep house and electro musical orientation. Among the themed evenings, Le Petit Futé really enjoyed the Halloween night!

Located just a stone's throw from Place de la République and Place du Théâtre, Bam Jam is a café you can recognize by its blue paintwork, large bay window and the many posters on the walls. If you come early in the evening, you'll be able to satisfy your hunger (plates of French fries, galettes,...) and whatever the time of day, you'll be able to have a drink with friends while listening to music and, from time to time, attending a concert (agenda on the Bam Jam Facebook page). Finally, a word of advice: the punch is excellent!
