Le Onze is set in a former fisherman's house on the harbor's Jacobsen Jetty, with a warm, welcoming decor and a pleasant patio/terrace at the rear. In the paintball of Montalivet, you can live, in a hectare of forest, a unique experience in Gironde: the Battle Archery. This archery activity, reputed to be risk-free (foam tips) and without specific supervision, always delights young and old, whether they are experienced archers or beginners. Adjacent to the brasserie of the same name, Le Méliès cinema screens films that you probably won't find in other cinemas in town. Independent and heritage cinema, films in VO, must-see films in VF... This venue screens 5 to 6 international feature-length films a week, and is a favorite with all cinephiles. Le Méliès is also two cinemas, offering twice as many screenings: the largest is located on Place Jean Jaurès, with 4 screens, and the other in the Saint-François district (bonus: a room with a balcony!). It is also one of the few cinemas to offer solidarity tickets for people on low incomes.

Three fun outdoor activities for the whole family. Firstly, from age 3 upwards, seven accrobranche courses, including a double zip line 130 meters out and 110 meters back over the water. Then paintball from age 8 upwards, with small, specially-adapted launchers, or between adults with a compressed-air launcher, with unlimited paintballs for children (fixed price of 200 and 400 paintballs for adults). The 200-seat venue, which opens entirely onto the outside thanks to its large bay windows, hosts concerts, DJ sets, and tributes to bands such as Nirvana and Pink Floyd. The program is indie pop, psychedelic, or rock, and drinks are available at fairly reasonable prices. Always one of our favourite addresses in Cassis. A dining cellar only 50 meters from the port, orchestrated by the sommelier Philippe Bellec. A resolutely epicurean place with over 200 wine references: Languedoc, Bourgogne, Vallée du Rhône and of course the vineyards of Cassis. Here's an original dance venue, to say the least, and one that's really been missing in Nîmes. We have a real crush on this well-named "Terrasse du Marché" which is nestled in the heart of the Colmar covered market, because its very nice terrace on stilts idyllically overlooks the calm waters of the Lauch in the heart of Little Venice. We sit down in this romantic place to enjoy a peaceful breakfast (without Stéphan Eicher unfortunately) and to taste small typical Alsatian dishes, including excellent flammekueche. All this can be accompanied by a good beer or excellent wines from the region.

It's the trendy bar in Sables-d'Olonne. In the heart of the fishing port, Le Bronx has a slightly "industrial" look, warmed by comfortable chesterfield sofas. There are no longer any concerts or sports broadcasts, but the atmosphere remains excellent and so do the beers, even if they are (as always, and like everything else) to be consumed in moderation.
