Built from 1978 to 1983, this railway station replaced that of the Brotteaux, especially for the liaison with Paris in TGV. It is "connected" to all the means of public transport (bus, metro, tram and the Rhône Express in direct connection with the airport of Saint-Exupéry). It is the first station in Lyon in terms of travellers and allows many connections. With TER, it links Grenoble, Saint-Etienne, Annecy, Chambéry, Clermont-Ferrand and Switzerland. Its TGV lines offer the proximity of large destinations such as Paris, Marseille or Lille. They also allow to directly reach Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport. Finally, the TGV Rhine-Rhône places Strasbourg and Germany within a few hours of journey. To follow: The station of the Part Dieu, designed to receive 30 000 passengers a day, while it welcomes more than 120 000 currently, is in the process of complete redevelopment to become 2021 to the image of the neighborhood surrounding it (high towers and work of Garibaldi), modern and more functional.

The first phase of one of the windows of Marseille, the place of convergence of the Marseille people, took place just before the event Marseille Provence 2013. The Old Port has been completely redesigned, redesigned, and the beautiful share has been made to pedestrians that significantly reduce the previously dedicated place for motorists. The second stage, with the end of the paving of the Island of Neuve (delivery before summer 2016) and the Port Pier (in 2017), as well as the creation of a parks of the Catalans and Fort Saint-Nicolas parks, and that of a public garden in the Anse du Pharo, started in September 2015 and will end in 2020. If the barriers to the Old Port have disappeared, further improvements have been made to the use of recreational boaters.

Hurtigruten is Norway's leading coastal express and offers daily departures from Bergen to Kirkenes, with a total of 34 stops along the coast throughout the year. The ships are comfortable, the cruise packages varied; 6, 7 or 12 days (e.g. Bergen/Kirkenes/Bergen), half or full board, with or without excursions. It is also possible to take the coastal express from one port to another (book in advance). Definitely one of the most beautiful ways to discover Norway!

This gateway now has elevators, allowing passengers with reduced mobility to travel more easily and more easily.
