As promised, the imposing shape of Mount Kilimanjaro dominates the landscape of this small park, where wild animals are often spotted through the sparse undergrowth.

The afternoon is devoted to game drives, and we're sure to see Amboseli's famous elephants on their way to and from their favorite watering hole.

Steps: Nairobi National Park

Today will be a veritable festival of game-viewing!

The Masai Mara Reserve remains the most exciting wildlife ecosystem in the natural world.

It is home to the highest and most varied concentration of wildlife of any park in the region.

The picturesque appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and the diversity of wild game species make it a unique location for game-viewing activities.

We'll cross the Masai Mara Reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing, encountering the big five and a larger number of smaller game animals.

We'll visit the Mara River, where we may see hippos and crocodiles, or perhaps the great migration (July-October).

Accommodation: Masai Mara Sopa Lodge or similar

Day 7: Masai Mara - Nairobi (256km - Aprx:5hrs)

Fancy another safari? We'll start early to make the most of the adventure.

Then, after our last safari breakfast, we'll enjoy one last safari in the park before heading back to Nairobi.

We should arrive around 4:30 pm (16:30).

We'll take you back to your hotel or residence in Nairobi or to the airport.

Between the elephants and Kilimanjaro, the sailing and bike safaris, and the great wildlife clean-up in the Masai Mara, this African safari was very complete. We hope you took lots of photos and amassed a rich treasure trove of memories to revisit and share.

We at Kiriwe Travel and Trekking Safaris are grateful for the trust you have placed in us and thank you for allowing us to show you so many aspects of Africa.
