Lake Tilicho was formed by glacial melt from the northern slopes of Annapurna Mountain and Thorong Peak. Thorong La Pass is the highest point on this trek at 5416m. The trail crosses deep gorges and high mountain passes such as Thorong La Pass. You'll also visit Buddhist and Hindu temples, rhododendron forests and beautiful villages.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival at Kathmandu international airport.

Transfer to your accommodation and free time to settle in and rest after your journey.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Besishahar (7-hour drive)

Depart Kathmandu early in the morning and drive to Besishahar, which takes around 7 hours.

Enjoy the drive through picturesque landscapes and Nepalese villages.

Settle in Besishahar for the night.

Day 3: Besishahar to Chame (5-hour drive)

After breakfast in Besishahar, continue by car to Chame, which takes around 5 hours.

Explore Chame and relax after the journey.

Day 4: Chame to Pisang (5-6 hours' walk)

Start your trek from Chame to Pisang, which takes around 5-6 hours.

Pass through beautiful scenery and traditional villages along the way.

Day 5: Pisang to Manang (5-6 hours hiking)

Continue your trek from Pisang to Manang, a walk of around 5 to 6 hours.

Day 6: Manang to Siri Kharka (4-5 hours' hike)

Depart Manang and walk to Siri Kharka, which takes around 4-5 hours.

Admire the alpine scenery along the way and take your time acclimatizing to the altitude.

Day 7: Siri Kharka to Tilicho base camp (5-6 hour hike)

Trek from Siri Kharka to Tilicho base camp, which takes around 5 to 6 hours.

Get ready for the next day's ascent to Lake Tilicho.

Day 8: Visit to Lake Tilicho and return to Siri Kharka (5-6 hours' hike)

Today, visit Lake Tilicho, one of the highest mountain lakes in the world.

Return to Siri Kharka after enjoying Lake Tilicho.

Day 9: Siri Kharka to Yak Kharka (4-5 hours' hike)

Walk from Siri Kharka to Yak Kharka, which takes around 4-5 hours.

Continue acclimatizing to the altitude and enjoy the spectacular views.

Day 10: Yak Kharka to Thorang Phedi (3-4 hour hike)

Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorang Phedi, a stage lasting around 3 to 4 hours.

Get ready for the ascent of the Thorong La pass the next day.

Settle in Thorang Phedi for the night.

Day 11: Thorong Phedi over the Thorong La pass to Muktinath (8-hour walk)

Today is the day for the ascent of the Thorong La pass, followed by the descent to Muktinath, which takes around 8 hours.

Enjoy the incredible views from the Thorong La pass before descending to Muktinath.

Settle in Muktinath for the night.

Day 12: Muktinath to Tatopani (4-hour drive)

After breakfast in Muktinath, drive to Tatopani, which takes around 4 hours.

Take advantage of Tatopani's natural hot springs to relax after the hike.

Settle in Tatopani for the night.

Day 13: Tatopani to Ghorepani (4-5 hours' hike)

Start your trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani, a walk of around 4 to 5 hours.

Day 14: Ghorepani à Poon Hill

Start early in the morning for a climb to Poon Hill, one of the most famous viewpoints in the Annapurna region.

The hike to Poon Hill from Ghorepani takes around 1 to 1.5 hours.

Once at the summit, enjoy the sunrise over the snow-capped peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, offering spectacular views.

After admiring the sunrise and taking photos, return to Ghorepani for breakfast.

Then continue your trek to Tikhedhunga.

Day 15: Tikhedhunga to Nayapul, then drive from Nayapul to Pokhara

Start your descent from Tikhedhunga to Nayapul, which takes around 3 to 4 hours.

Once in Nayapul, you can rest for a while before taking a vehicle to Pokhara.

The drive from Nayapul to Pokhara usually takes around 1h30.

On arrival in Pokhara, settle into your accommodation and enjoy the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the charming town of Pokhara, situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Phewa.
