Day 1: D-1: Lima

Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel in the modern district of Miraflores, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Afternoon at leisure (depending on your flight arrival time). Night at hotel.

Day 2: J-2: Lima - Paracas

Steps: Paracas

Morning departure in our private vehicle for a guided tour of Lima: visit to the Plaza de Armas, home to the Cathedral, City Hall, Presidential Palace, San Francisco Church and Catacombs. Continuation to Miraflores, Lima's modern district on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, and Barranco, the bohemian district where we'll have lunch. In the afternoon, we continue to Paracas. Arrive late afternoon and check into hotel.

Day 3: J-3: Paracas - Nazca

Steps: Paracas, Nazca

Morning departure for the port of Paracas, bound for the Ballestas Islands. These islands, with their natural rock formations, are home to a large marine fauna and colonies of birds such as guanay, piquero, pelican, cormorant, Humboldt penguin, sea lions and sometimes even dolphins. Back to the port and departure for the Huacachina lagoon to enjoy a buggy ride across the sand dunes. We continue our journey to Nazca, stopping en route at a viewpoint from which you can appreciate some of the figures that make up the Nazca lines. Those wishing to fly over the Nazca lines will be taken to the airfield (flight not included). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: J-4: Nazca - Arequipa

Steps: Paracas, Nazca

Free morning. Suggestion (not included) for this free morning:

Option 1: Walk to the Chauchilla cemetery and its 1000-year-old mummies.

Option 2: Visit the ruins of Cahuachi, the ceremonial and administrative center of Nazca culture, featuring six groups of pyramids.

At the scheduled time, departure in our private vehicle for Arequipa along the wild coast, with the opportunity to stop and enjoy the beauty of the scenery. Arrive in Arequipa late at night and transfer to hotel.

Day 5: D-5: Arequipa - City tour and surroundings

In the morning, discover the white city of Arequipa at 2335 m altitude, a UNESCO World Heritage Site: visit the Yanahuara district and the Mirador de Carmen Alto, offering a magnificent view of the valley and volcanoes. The tour continues to the colonial center, the central market, the Company cloisters and the Santa Catalina Monastery. The latter was closed to the public for centuries. Now harmoniously restored, it gives an idea of what Arequipa was like in the 17th century. Afternoon at leisure to discover this beautiful city for yourself. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: J-6: Arequipa – Canyon de Colca

Steps: Chivay

Morning departure for the Colca Canyon. Head for the altiplano, which reaches an altitude of over 4,000 metres, passing through the Aguada Blanca reserve, home to a rich variety of local fauna: vicuñas, llamas, alpacas, viscachas (squirrel rabbits). Once you've reached the highest point at 4900 m, you descend into the Colca valley for lunch in the village of Chivay (3500 m).

Optional: In the afternoon, acclimatization hike to the 40º C thermal baths for a relaxing dip (admission not included). Overnight at hotel.

Day 7: J-7: Canyon de Colca – Puno

Steps: Chivay, Puno

Early in the morning, departure from Chivay for the Condor Cross. Before arrival, a short hike along the edge of the canyon to appreciate its depths and the flight of the condor. On the way back from Chivay: stops at the canyon's main viewpoints, passing through pretty villages. Lunch in Chivay. In the afternoon, we continue our journey towards Puno, passing through the immense landscapes of the altiplano. Stops will be made to observe the wildlife. Late afternoon arrival in Puno, at 3800 meters. Overnight in hotel.

Day 8: D-8: Puno - Uros and Amantani Islands

Steps: Puno, Islas Flotantes De Los Uros

In the morning, we head for the port for a boat trip on Lake Titicaca. Visit to the Uros islands: meet the inhabitants, who live on these artificial islands built with their own hands. On to Amantani Island, where lunch will be served. Settle in with the locals. In the late afternoon, walk to the ruins at the top of the island to watch the sunset over the immense lake. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: J-9: Ile Taquile - Puno

Steps: Puno, Isla Taquile

Cross the lake to Taquile Island: an island of great ethnic and cultural value, thanks to its inhabitants who continue to live according to the customs and community laws of their ancestors. Arrival on the island will be followed by a walk to the village to appreciate the beautiful panorama of Bolivia's Cordillera Real and the exceptional weavings. After lunch, departure from the port to Puno. Arrival in the afternoon. Overnight in hotel.

Day 10: J-10: Puno - Cusco

Steps: Puno

In the morning, departure by private vehicle for Cusco via the archaeological site of Pukara, where traces of one of the first pre-Inca civilizations on the altiplano are still visible. Followed by a stop at La Raya (4370 m), which marks the end of the altiplano and the beginning of the Andean valley where the Inca civilization developed. Lunch break in a tourist restaurant before visiting the temple of Inca Wiracocha and the village of Andahuaylillas, home to the Sistine Chapel of the Andes. Arrival in Cusco, former capital of the Inca empire. Overnight in hotel.

Day 11: J-11: Cusco - Pisaq - Ollantaytambo

Steps: Písaq, Ollantaytambo

In the morning, visit the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, built of huge stone blocks with unprecedented precision. From the heights, we'll have a panoramic view of the city of Cusco and the colonial center. We then continue to the Sacred Valley to visit the ruins of Pisaq and its colorful Indian market. The tour continues to the citadel of Ollantaytambo and the fortress overlooking the village. End of the afternoon free to stroll through the narrow streets of the village. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 12: J-12: Ollantaytambo - Machu Picchu - Ollantaytambo

Steps: Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu

Early in the morning, we'll take the train to the village of Aguas Calientes, the departure point for Machu Picchu, then a bus will take us to the Machu Picchu sanctuary: the most important heritage left by the Inca civilization. A two-hour guided tour of the citadel and free time to discover Machu Picchu's massive, refined architecture. Return to Ollantaytambo by train. Overnight in hotel.

Day 13: J-13: Ollantaytambo - Moray - Maras - Chincheros - Cusco

Steps: Maras, Moray

In the morning, we begin our return journey to Cusco, first passing through the site of Moray to discover the impressive agricultural terraces and irrigation canals of the Inca era. This is followed by a visit to the Maras salt pans, home to hundreds of salt pans suspended in terraces on the mountainside, dating back to Inca times. Our final visit is to the picturesque village of Chinchero, where you can admire its well-preserved Inca walls in the main square and the colonial temple with its interesting frescoes on the portico. Arrival in Cusco and late afternoon at leisure.

Day 14: D-14: Cusco - city tour

In the morning, visit the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha, political and religious center of the Inca Empire, and the traditional market. In the latter, you'll meet merchants in traditional dress and typical Peruvian products. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy your last day in Cusco. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 15: J-15: Cusco - Lima

At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Lima and then your international flight.
