Day 1: Departure for Lapland!
Check into the hotel in a room or chalet, review the program and in the evening enjoy a delicious buffet dinner at the hotel. You can end the evening in a typical Finnish way: in the sauna.
Day 2: Snowmobile tour in the Lapland nature
There will be two of you per snowmobile, with a stop for you to change drivers. You can also drive your own snowmobile for an additional fee. The entire tour takes about 3 hours.
In the evening, you will enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel.
Day 3: Stroll with the huskies
Ready for one of the highlights of your trip? When we think of Lapland, we often think of huskies and today you will have the opportunity to meet these beautiful Alaskan dogs. A bus will take you to the kennel, where the huskies will be eager to leave. A group of 4 to 6 huskies will pull your sled, two people per sled, through the forests and frozen lakes
Along the way, you will stop for a moment to change drivers. After the excursion, you can have fun with the dogs, while lunch will be prepared around a campfire.
The trip will last approximately 4 hours, including transportation. The distance covered will depend on the weather and snow conditions.
You will have the rest of the day to do whatever you want.
Day 4:
In the morning, you will have a free morning. You can book an optional activity, go out on your own or even ski on the small slope next to the hotel. At noon, you can have lunch at the hotel or on the ski slope.
In the afternoon, a snowshoe hike of 2h00-2h30 will allow you to explore the surroundings of the hotel. Along the way, the guide will tell you more about the local flora and fauna, and you will receive hot berry juice and a snack to warm you up.
Day 5: Visit to a reindeer farm and sleigh ride
You will visit a local reindeer farm, where you will learn more about the life of these typical Lapp and Sámi animals
You will also have a short ride of 3.5 to 4 km on a reindeer sled. It will go much slower than the dog sled, the purpose being to relax during the trip, enjoy the surroundings and the tranquility. After the tour, coffee and snacks will be served.
The tour will last approximately 2.5 hours (transportation included).
Day 6: Free day
You can enhance your day with a variety of activities, rent cross-country skis for a nature hike or enjoy the hotel's spa.
Day 7: Free day
Take advantage of this free day to do various activities. You can rent cross-country skis for a nature hike or enjoy the hotel's spa.
Day 8: Back to Belgium
You will take place in the transfer (approximately 2h15 of road) which will take you to the airport for the return flight, the head full of memories!
