Day 1: day 1: Transfer from Kigali airport or any hotel in Kigali city - drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, or in the morning after breakfast at your hotel, your Africa Adventures vacations Ltd. driver-guide will be waiting to brief you on your two-day mountain gorilla trekking tour and then transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in southwest Uganda. The drive will take about 5-6 hours, across the Katuna or Chanika borders. You will stop in the town of Kabale or Kisoro for lunch and refreshments, then check into your booked lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Today, start your day with a hearty and fantastic breakfast with your packed lunch and bags, then head to the park headquarters to register and attend a briefing on how the mountain gorilla trek is done. Encounters with mountain gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest are 95% guaranteed. Once you find them, you will spend an hour observing, tracking and photographing them. Therefore, you must make sure your camera is fully charged to capture every moment with the mountain gorillas for your memories. Once the hour is up, return to the starting point to collect your tracking certificate, enjoy your packed lunch and refreshments, and then return to Kigali airport to catch your flight home or to a hotel in Kigali city to spend the night.
