Day 1: DAY 1: Departure for Bwindi National Park for a 4 day safari with gorillas and golden monkeys.

Steps: Forêt Impénétrable De Bwindi

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half the number of mountain gorillas in the world. You will stop en route at the equator crossing point for photos and experiences before continuing your scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the night.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park

Steps: Forêt Impénétrable De Bwindi

Today you will go to the park headquarters for a briefing, as you will have to learn the rules and how to behave with the gorillas. Then the ranger will lead you through the dark forest to find the gorillas. This trek can take anywhere from half an hour to 8 hours as the gorillas move from place to place in search of food. After finding the gorillas, you will spend an hour with them before returning to the park headquarters.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking in Mgahinga

Steps: Mgahinga National Park

Today, early in the morning, you will drive to Mgahinga National Park for a briefing and then depart for your golden monkey hike. This golden monkey hike will not only allow you to see the rare golden monkeys, but also to discover other park attractions and spectacular scenery.
