Steps: Marais De Mabamba

About 30 km from Entebbe lies the Mabamba Swamp, a vast depression that feeds fresh water into Lake Victoria. By rowing boat, with the help of a local guide, we will explore a labyrinth of canals and stretches of aquatic grass in search of the majestic hoofbeak (Balaeniceps rex), of which several specimens have settled here. The boat without motor allows us to move in silence, to have a better approach.
