Day 1: Stone Town, the cultural capital
Steps: Stone Town, Mtoni
Discover Stone Town: take a morning guided tour of the old town to discover the Old Dispensary, the old fort, the Anglican church and slave prison, Mtoni Palace... In the afternoon, take a boat to Prison Island for snorkeling on a magnificent coral reef nearby.
Day 2: Farniente on northern beaches
Steps: Stone Town, Kendwa, Nungwi
Then head for Nungwi or Kendwa in the very north of the island, one of Zanzibar' s most beautiful beaches, as it has no coral reef. Here, you can swim at any time in the turquoise waters. It's a picture-postcard landscape where you can enjoy a siesta under the palm tree.
Day 3: The South: Pajé and Jambiani
Steps: Michamvi Kae, Jambiani
Direction the south of the island, Pagé or Jambiani the most touristic villages. Here, the wind blows enough to kitesurf or windsurf. Great animation on the beach of the women harvesting the cultivated seaweed. In the evening, dinner at the famous restaurant The Rocks in Michamvi
Day 4: Space tour, Dolphin tour or Safari Blue
Steps: Stone Town, Kizimkazi
Choose one or two of the island's unmissable tours that you would like to do. The " spice tour ", which takes you to a farm where all the island's spices are grown, is very instructive. Or the Dolphin Tour in Kizimkazi or the Safari Blue, a day of snorkeling in the south of the island
