Day 1: Delhi

Arrival in Delhi and time of acclimatization. Overnight stay.

Day 2: Jaipur

Steps: Jaipur, Bikaner

Head to Jaipur (about 5 hours drive), the Pink city. Walking tour of the old town. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Jaipur

Steps: Jaipur, Amber

Discovery of the city in depth. In the morning, visit of the bazaars of the city and shopping in the city of diamonds. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: On the way to Agra

Route to Agra (about 5 hours). Stopover at Fatehpur Sikri, a "ghost" town located 40 km west of Agra. In Agra, visit of Red Fort. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Agra and Taj Mahal

Steps: Osyan

Before leaving Agra, morning visit to the unmissable and fabulous Taj Mahal. Then, go to Orchha (5 hours). On the way, visit the fortress of Gwalior and the Hindu temples of Datia. Overnight in the small town of Orchha.

Day 6: Khajuraho

Steps: Pushkar

Head for Khajuraho (4 hours drive). There, visit of the temples famous for their erotic sculptures and discovery of an exuberant nature. Overnight stay.

Day 7: Head for Varanasi

Departure early in the morning for Varanasi (8 hours drive). Arrival in one of the most sacred cities of Hinduism. Rest and relaxation.

Day 8: Varanasi

Steps: Bikaner

Stroll through the narrow streets of the old town and on the ghats on the edge of the Ganges, the most sacred river in Hinduism. If time permits, excursion to Sarnath (20 km from Bénarès), Buddhist village. Puja at dusk on the main ghat. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 9: Return to Delhi

At sunrise, a boat ride on the Ganges to observe the first ablutions. Free morning in the city. Transfer to the airport and flight to Delhi, or overnight train to Delhi (12 hours). Overnight in Delhi
