Day 1: Arrival in Paramaribo

Steps: Paramaribo

Day devoted to visiting Paramaribo 's old town and Fort Zeelandia. Dolphin-watching boat trip in the late afternoon. Dinner in one of the capital's many restaurants and a night out: the city has countless bars, clubs and casinos!

Day 2: Discover the forest

Steps: Berg En Dal

Departure for the Bergendal resort: relax and discover Surinam's primary forest through various activities: historical tour of the old plantation, kayaking or zip-lining. Overnight stay.

Day 3: To French Guiana

Steps: Meerzorg, Marienburg

Spend the day shopping (prices are better than in French Guiana, especially for local handicrafts and designer clothes), or visit one of the nearby plantations(Peperpot, Frederiksdorp, etc.). Return to Cayenne or Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni.
