Day 1: First day in Budapest

Steps: Budapest

Arrival at Budapest airport in the morning, car rental, then departure to Sárvár, in the west of Hungary. The charming little town attracts visitors with its unspoilt nature and beneficial thermal springs. The most famous tourist site in Sárvár is Nádasdy Castle. This cultural heritage has been kept active to this day through festivals, international concerts and folklore programmes.

Day 2: Briefing and first aid

Meeting with the hotel doctor, for identification and consultation. 10 treatments are included, on medical prescription. Free relaxation in the hotel's wellness and spa area, access to the fitness room and sports activities. Bathrobe included. Treatment at the hotel according to the doctor's prescription. In the afternoon, we recommend a visit to Szombathely, in the pretty hometown of Saint Martin de Tours. Approximately 30 minutes by car. It is one of the oldest Hungarian cities (Savaria) and preserves many Roman remains.

Day 3: Sopron Castle

Treatments according to the doctor's prescription. Then visit the charming city of Sopron. The city is located on a kind of peninsula near Austria, it is also close to Lake Fertöd. Famous for its magnificent castle, the picturesque alleys of its city centre and its Gothic district, Sopron is a city rich in culture, history and architecture. Possible continuation with a visit to the Château d'Eszterházy in Fertod, which looks a little like the Château de Versailles

Day 4: Sarvar and its surroundings

After morning care, head for the arboretums around Sárvár. Arboretum Jeli, Kámoni, Szelestei await you to drive you to a real haven of peace... Harmony is there, in your heart and around you. Return to Sárvár.

Day 5: Exploration of the city of Kőszeg

Exploration of the beautiful city of Szeged after treatment according to the doctor's prescription. Discover the charming little town of Kőszeg, one of the most charming cities in the country. Splendid city with its historical houses, its buildings from Gothic to Baroque, its 13th century castle, its wonderful churches, the Town Hall, the Jurisics Square (Turkish period) the giant chestnut tree, the Old Tower. Return to Sárvár. Buffet dinner at the hotel.

Day 6: City of Keszthely

After the treatment, visit the town of Keszthely, northwest of Lake Balaton. Rich history, its cultural life and its natural environments are splendid, the city is often compared to the capital of Lake Balaton. Keszthely's modern history goes back more than 760 years, although the area of the city has been continuously inhabited since the Roman Empire. You can admire the urban landscape quietly and Lake Balaton from the Keszthely mountains, swim in the lake in summer or discover the museums, the theatre and the Festetics Palace. Possibility to visit Lake Hévíz, the largest natural thermal lake. The lake extends over an area of 4 hectares and is surrounded by a 60 hectare nature reserve. The water has a temperature of 33°C in summer and 25°C in winter, which makes it possible to swim all year round. The lake water contains many beneficial substances for health and is particularly recommended in case of rheumatism and muscle problems. Return to Sárvár

Day 7: Return to Budapest

Arrival and installation at the hotel, free discovery of the district. We recommend that you take a walk in Vörösmarty Square, from where the famous pedestrian and shopping street Váci opens, or take a nice walk on the Duna Corso. Dinner on board a recent boat, which is taking a trip on the Danube, to introduce you to the romantic illuminated capital. 4-course dinner with background music. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: The whole history of Budapest

Visit with a private French-speaking guide. Guided tour of downtown Pest, with entrance to the Basilica. Private car trip in the Jewish Quarter, where a tour of the Synagogues is on the agenda. Visits from outside, you can come back for internal visits, there are local French-speaking guides. Walk in the Gozsdu courtyard. Visit of Buda Castle with the Bastion des Pécheurs and the Matthias Church with a professional French-speaking guide. Walk in the alleys of Buda, then around the old Royal Palace and its Matthias fountain which has its anecdote... Descending by funicular dating back to 1868. Then crossing the Chain Bridge, the driver comes to pick you up at the bottom of the funicular.

Day 9: Last day in the Hungarian capital

Steps: Budapest

Visit to the Hungarian Parliament, in French, at 11am, or visit to the National Gallery. Optionally, private car trip to ő, about 30 minutes from the capital, to reach Grassalkovich Castle. Around 11am, guided tour of the castle with a local French-speaking guide. This monument was the favourite former residence of the Empress and Queen Elizabeth "Sisi" and Franz Joseph. It has an unparalleled architectural and historical wealth. Private transfer to the airport depending on the flights (preferably in the afternoon)
