Day 1: Hiking in Durmitor

Steps: Parc National De Durmitor

The most prestigious, the Durmitor area, listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site, offers countless well-marked hiking trails. With its 22 peaks, it is the most mountainous and offers numerous possibilities for outdoor activities, both in summer and winter.

Day 2: Skiing or mountain biking?

Skiing, snowshoeing, walking, mountain biking, etc., you won't have time to get bored on a second day in these splendid mountain landscapes. Also crossed by several canyons (Tara, Sušica, Komarnica), it has become a famous playground for whitewater sports enthusiasts.

Day 3: Virgin forest in Biogradska Gora

The Biogradska Gora, located in the north of the country, can be the object of a magnificent but difficult hike. Mainly made up of forests and high pastures, the site shelters one of the last virgin forests of Europe (1 600 hectares). You will choose it for a discovery of an abundant nature.

Day 4: The national park of Lovćen

Steps: Cetinje, Kotor

Further south, Lovćen National Park offers stony and arid landscapes. From Cetinje or Kotor, it is possible to reach its main peak, Mount Lovćen, in a day's walk (round trip). The panorama offered from its summit is the most spectacular in the country. It is the most aerated and aerial mountain park. On the way, you can stop at one of the few restaurants in the region to taste the cheese and sausage specialities.

Day 5: Skadar Lake

Steps: Lac De Skadar

The exuberant vegetation of Skadar Lake offers an insightful contrast with the drought of the Paysages ‡ landscape. If the surrounding area does not have hiking trails, several small secondary roads allow the surplomber to be discovered and discovered in all its splendour. On the road, one can stop in one of the picturesque villages built on the flanks of the hills bordering the lake to taste grilled fish.

Day 6: The Prokletije massif

At the eastern end of the Dinaric Alps, the wild and still little known Prokletije massif offers a magnificent landscape of sharp peaks and vertiginous walls. A spectacular way to end your journey in Montenegrin nature...
