Day 1: Candlelight dinner in Trois-Rivières

Steps: Pointe-À-Pitre, Capesterre-Belle-Eau, Trois-Rivieres

Once you reach Point-à-Pitre, head for the luxurious Qualisun de Capesterre Belle Eau or the Jardin Malanga in Trois-Rivières, in Basse-Terre, to put down your luggage. After a welcome cocktail and a moment of relaxation in front of the setting sun, you can opt for the service room of your hotel, or one of the very good Caribbean restaurants in town

Day 2: The Holy Islands

Steps: Terre-De-Haut, Terre-De-Bas

Wake up at dawn for a short trip on a sailboat to the sublime volcanic archipelago of the Saintes. You can start the day with a short ascent of Fort Napoleon, offering a 360° panoramic view of the surrounding islands, before trying your hand at diving in one of the island's caves or canyons, which are very easy to access. The afternoon will be devoted either to idleness on the beach of Le Pain de Sucre, or to a hike to Terre-de-Bas, a small paradise with enchanting tropical flora. We will take care to taste the torment of love, a local sweet specialty, before going to rest in a villa or bungalow

Day 3: Marie-Galante

Steps: Grand-Bourg, Saint-Louis

As on the previous day, we wake up at dawn to hire the services of a skipper and head for Marie-Galante, the island of a hundred windmills. The second largest island after Guadeloupe itself, it boasts some of the finest beaches in the Lesser Antilles. Spend the morning visitingHabitation Murat and its eco-museum, or Roussel-Trianon, an abandoned sugar mill, as well as one or two distilleries. In the afternoon, head for rural Saint-Louis, the island's smallest village, which gives the impression of having remained unchanged for centuries, giving it an irresistible old-fashioned charm. Overnight in a villa or return to mainland Guadeloupe.

Day 4: Small Earth

Steps: Saint-François, Terre-De-Bas, Terre-De-Haut, Petite-Terre

The two desert islets that make up Petite Terre - Terre-de-Haut and Terre-de-Bas - are classified as nature reserves. To reach it from Saint-François, count 2 hours of sailing trip, sometimes in the company of turtles and dolphins, on board of which it is possible to taste some freshly caught fish. Once on the island, a true sanctuary of fauna and flora, you will have the opportunity to meet some impressive iguanas, before enjoying the turquoise waters for a proper Caribbean bath. Return to Saint-François for one last night, in a floating bungalow!
