Day 2: Saints

Stop in Saintes! Located on the left bank of the Charente, the ancient capital of Gaul is home to architectural treasures: Gallo-Roman amphitheater, Ladies' Abbey, Germanicus Arch, Saint-Pierre Cathedral... On foot, you can take advantage of the gentle way of life to admire these jewels and settle down on a terrace or on a barge to taste local products
Day 3: Pons
If we leave Saintes with regret, we will take pleasure in visiting Pons. Before arriving in the medieval city, you will see the keep culminating at more than 30 m! Situated on a promontory and dominating the Seugne, the city is also a stage on the roads to Santiago de Compostela, housing the Pilgrims' Hospital. The gourmets will taste the famous madeleines of Colibri
