Day 1: Birdwatching
Steps: Saint-Quentin-En-Tourmont
Go to the Marquenterre park! It extends over 200 hectares of marshes and dunes. You can observe a great ornithological wealth, with many species of birds. Take one of the three paths allowing loops of 2 or 4 km. On site, you can eat at the restaurant La Tablée du Marquenterre or plan a picnic while exploring the surroundings (it is forbidden to picnic in the reserve).

Day 2: Seal watching
Steps: Cayeux-Sur-Mer
Depending on tide times, opt for a seal-watching outing with a guide or in a Polynesian pirogue. Seals are numerous in the Bay of the Somme, but be sure to respect their well-being by staying 300 meters away from them and using binoculars to observe them. Don't forget to explain to your children that these are wild animals and must not be touched or frightened. Gentle and silent, the pirogue allows you to discover the bay in a different way. If you're on foot, park at the Pointe du Hourdel parking lot and head for the beach.

Day 3: Taking the time
Steps: Cayeux-Sur-Mer, Le Crotoy, Saint-Valery-Sur-Somme
Visit the towns of the Baie de Somme on the little train! This train runs on the Chemin de Fer de la Baie de Somme, allowing you to stop off at Cayeux-sur-Mer, Lanchère, Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, Le Crotoy... Of course, you'll need to take into account the timetables and stops to create your itinerary. Don't forget to stop in Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, with its ancient lanes (be careful, it's uphill) and beautiful facades. It's also here that you'll find plenty of souvenir stores and good food.
