Smaralind is the largest shopping centre in the country. There are more than 90 shops around a supermarket to do all your shopping. Ready-to-wear shops, Icelandic art, design, food, cafes, restaurants, you can find everything you need to eat and to equip yourself... Some brands will surely be familiar to you (Pizza Hut, Six, Sostrene Grene...) and others a little less known (Pennin Eymundsson, Monki, Maikai...). A cinema complex called Smárabíó completes the whole and welcomes mainly locals.

When you travel in Iceland, you come across very few shopping centers, and Kringlan is one of the best known. With almost 180 stores, Kringlan is the country's largest shopping center. It features all the major local brands, as well as Icelandic supermarkets and bookshops, and international brands such as Timberland, Levi's and Nike. The center also boasts one of Iceland's leading cinemas, a children's playground, a food court and numerous other services (bank, telephone, photo booth, etc.).
