Getting around by bus and coach Reykjavik & Area

It's the departure point for most regular buses, shuttles to Keflavik airport (such as Fly Bus) and excursions from Reykjavik. The building may not look like much, but it has ticket counters, a recommendable cafeteria, toilets, an info point and luggage storage, which is always accessible. From the bus station, you can walk to the capital's city center in around 20 minutes, mainly through residential areas.

Vik is a small town on the south coast of Iceland. However, there seem to be a few options for getting to Vik by bus. The STRAETO bus company runs a line (no. 51) from Reykjavik to Vik, departing every weekday except weekends.
