The University of Savoie is divided into several centres and offers different training courses:

The University of Savoy is classified as the first institution for students with an Erasmus scholarship. A ranking completed with a licence success rate of 38,3%, which is 10 more than the national average.

Giving young people a second chance too early in school is the goal of E 2 C, the Second Chance School, a national device. By a session of 18 young people aged between 25 and, leaving the school system and without qualifications, these young people resume the school base around a professional project. After a dozen days of testing, evaluation, learning of the collective life, they follow refresher courses in French and mathematics, learn to live in groups, manage their budget (they receive EUR 8 per day of training for the bus and lunch at noon). But they also learn to find a course in concordance with their professional project, to come to an interview, to assemble a curriculum vitae… Entries are made through local missions, régies, neighbourhood organizations.

Open to all, the University of Savoy's map offers more than 15 000 documents and 2 300 different titles, classified and inventoried. 110 m ² to work and study. Teachers, students, individuals, curious can come and consult them on site and cards can borrow on two documents for fifteen days.

This institution is part of the network of map with close to 2 000 antennas, the only place where so many cards are listed in both Savoie. It allows you to look at all the maps of the two departments, Ain, Isère, Haute-Alpes but also boards on Tibet or La Motte Beuvron. In tanks, the maps, dating from the 1970 s to the present, fall into topographic, geological, thematic and environmental supports (climate, vegetation…), major maps or environments and topographic layers, field surveys of former DDE, the Department of equipment. The funds are being digitized for free online access on the University Library website and on ODS, the national catalogue of university libraries.

The Université de Savoie, located in Annecy, is a higher education establishment offering a variety of courses. For the start of the 2023 academic year, there are still places available in the first year of the Master's program. On an international level, the UNITA European alliance benefits from renewed support from the European Commission. The destination visited is a valuable educational tool to help young people "grow up". The program includes geography, history, geopolitics, etc., all in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition, they learn about group life and respect for others, as well as meeting other young people and locals. So it's not so much the destination itself that's at stake, but the way it's approached that seems essential here. The choice of stays, mainly itinerant, is extremely varied.
