Departure near the cross of Seignolles. Circuit sheet available at the Pays d'Urfé tourist office. The interpretation trail "Il était un chemin" (Once upon a time) aims at discovering the heritage of the Pays d'Urfé. It is punctuated with amusing explanatory panels to discover the local history, the flora and fauna as well as the richness of the landscapes and the Madeleine mountains. A picnic table allows you to finish the walk with a moment of relaxation and conviviality.

Departure: . plateau. Distance: 1,5 km, duration: 1 h. The discovery trail explains the secrets of the bog. With an area of 20 hectares, this marsh area plays an essential role in the regulation of water resources. Listed among Natura 2000 sites, the bog is a world to protect. If you have time, visit the Bison of the Madeleine Mountains, take a tour to the arboretum of the Grand Murcins of Arcons or go to the adventure at Les Cimes de Bécajat.

A Monts du Pilat Orienteering area has been set up on the Grands Bois site in the middle of nature or near inhabited rural areas. There are 4 courses of different levels and 70 permanent markers placed in evidence or well hidden. It is aimed at both individuals, thanks to a kit of 3 maps, and groups with a state-certified guide. You can do these routes on mountain bikes and snowshoes or even on horseback or skis.

Take a look at the beautiful region of Du on the 15 ^th March of the Schools beautifully named "La Molinette". Your financial participation in hiking will be used to finance school travel, a good way to add value to the fun!

Circuit from the hiking guide of the country of Urfé. Duration: 2 h. Distance: 7 km. Departure from Fountain Square in Champoly. A cradle of the family of Urfé, the medieval castle also called the Cornes Horn (th-century) is a place of walks in a history decor. Thanks to the natural beauty of the site, a 360-degree view from the dungeon is added, which allows you to see more than one quarter of France. The building is under restoration. The entire landscape is explained on enamelled plates.

Circuit from Balade to discover Grand Roanne. Departure from the village of Villerest. This circuit runs along the shores of Lake Villerest and offers a botanical trail to discover the typical fauna and flora of the region. Then, it will take you along the lake to the heart of the village of Villerest, where you will enjoy medieval architecture that is remarkably safeguarded. Villerest is in the image of a village in the Middle Ages with its situation on a promontory, its ramparts of the th century, its narrow streets, its houses with wooden floors…

Circuit from the hiking guide of the Morning Mountains. Duration: 6 h. Distance: 24 km. Departure from Salt-en-Donzy town hall. With its stream environment, mills, old bridges and other bridges, the monorail circuit is now the pleasure of hikers looking for a peaceful stage. When the trail crosses the remains of the castle and the chapel of Donzy, the charm intensifies in this marriage of stone and plants. For the curious, a model of the locomotive is visible in Panissières.

Circuit from the guide Discovery in Aix and Isable. Duration: 3 p. m. Distance: 12,5 km. Departure from the church of Dancé. The trail slowly starts through wood, meadows and moorland, and comes flirt with the Loire. Then we go to better contemplate this majestic river. It offers you a breathtaking view of a magnificent bend squeezing fertile lands. Largely rewarded with his effort, we gently return to Dancé with, in front of you, the mountains and the Plaine plain.

Departure: Hamlet of Forests, Route of the Covered Cross. Distance: 5 km, duration: 2 h. Fact sheet available to the initiative union of the Pays-de-la-Loire country. Through your walk, thanks to the explanatory panels you will learn to recognize the different tree species and their particularities as well as numerous information about the local fauna. In Sévelinges, if you have time, visit GAEC's GAEC, the Flavours of Reason and Cabinetmaking Gilles Breton.

Circuit from the Hiking guide of the country of La Pacaudière. Duration: 5 p. m. Distance: 19 km. Departure from Saint-Bonnet-des-Quarts church. A memorable journey on the edge of the Madeleine Mountains. A mountain circuit where forest trails will take you to 1 000 m above sea level to enjoy wide views of the surrounding area. The Southern Cross delineates the communes of Saint-Bon-des-Quarts, Saint-Rirand and Ambierle. Many legends are attached to this mystical place, to discover them…

This circuit, which multiplies the points of view, is set on the upper ridges of the municipality of Ecoche. He made some brief incursions into the departments of the Rhône and the Saône-et-Loire. This land of borders is also a place of exchange, in the image of historical paths. Take an assault on the paths that will take you to the Crêt Wolf where a monolith called Peter des Morts is erected, but also to the End Cross. From here you will have a superb view of the Madeleine mountains and the Forez Mountains.

Departure from the Monument Square, place de Verdun in Saint-Priest-la-Roche. Whether you are a casual walkers or experienced hikers who are passionate about old stones or history lovers, or simply love nature, you will find in this territory what to satisfy your desires by browsing the bois and paths, or discovering the villages of Saint-Priest-la-Roche and Cordelle. These communes are part of one of the four circuits of the country's religious heritage between Loire and Rhône, there are more than fifteen churches to discover. 

Departure from the Plaisance marina. From the port of Briennon, cross the Canal canal in Digoin by the old Slipway. Then enter the ripisylve, specific vegetation of the edges of the rivers, discover the lône of Briennon, a former Bras arm and reach the shores of the river. During the tour you will see the Canal canal bridge, the confluence with the Sornin and the lock of Briennon. Various thematic interpretive panels, including a question-and-answer game on ripisylve. Circuit from the Trails Guide of Charlieu. Duration 2 h. Distance: 9 km. Departure from Camping Campground. This circuit is a natural extension of the duke walk between the historical Historique and the Most Beautiful Detours of France. By green groves, it leads to the Devil Bridge, a medieval book crossing the Sornin. Discover the mysterious legend of this bridge and the built heritage of the castle of Tigny, which belonged to the Lord of Montrenard in Pouilly-sous-Charlieu.

Circuit from the Trails Guide of Charlieu. Duration: 4 to 5 days. Distance: 104,5 km. The tour of the country of Charlieu will take you from the groves of the Brionnais to the wooded foothills of the Beaujolais Mountains. From here you will continue in the direction of the fertile chambons surrounding the River Loire and you will have to pass to follow the banks of the canal De in Digoin. It is therefore a multifaceted landscape that you will discover throughout the journey of this country: sunny slopes, groves and green valleys, wooded areas in the modest relief, fertile plain…

The family of the writer Charles Exbrayat used to spend their summers in Tarentaise. The landscapes of Pilat, and more particularly those surrounding the village, inspired the novelist. This path marked out by the Pilat Regional Park is dedicated to him. Take the direction of Prarouet then the tarmac road on the right, follow the road for 100 m, cross to reach the hamlet of Curtil and the Furan valley. Follow the forest track and take a path on the right which goes up to the Côte des Pins from where you will reach Tarentaise.

Need some oxygen after this long period of shooting in your apartment? Go to the Domaine Le Bessat, in a preserved nature, to breathe a pure and invigorating air. At the Maison du Parc in Pélussin or at the Syndicat d'Initiative in Le Bessat, you will find brochures of communal paths, many of which are around Le Bessat. Also, the mountain bike topo-guide and its dozens of circuits of all levels or a description of about twenty loops on foot. Walks to be done as soon as the first rays of sunshine appear. And for the more athletic, there is the possibility of a trail.
