The Natural Reserve of the Marais de Lavours was finally created on 22 March 1984.

The AVF offers a range of activities and events to encourage people to meet and exchange ideas. However, all activities have now been resumed, while respecting barrier gestures. The association also organizes recent events, such as the Sainte-Agathe and Saint-Gaston celebrations.
