The restaurant of the hotel Laponia is one of the few places to eat in Arvidsjaur. It offers extremely fine cuisine based on local products. The restaurant is very pleasant, decorated in a rather sober style of Lappish inspiration of course and decorated with chandeliers. It is in short a very recommended restaurant in the city!

This café is perhaps the warmest place in town, and the food is good. It feels like home and for the same price as in a kebab shop, you can eat healthy food! It is also possible to have a coffee (always at will) and a small pastry. Above your heads, large posters representing the crafts of the Sami people. Some evenings, you can attend performances of joik, the traditional Sami song. Plejset vid ån offers traditional Swedish cuisine with a twist, featuring a selection of fish and meat dishes. The decor is simple and elegant, with a friendly atmosphere. The restaurant's dishes vary according to the season, and are prepared using fresh, local ingredients (port city oblige!). Popular dishes include Swedish meatballs, grilled salmon, sausages and potato side dishes, as well as game dishes.

This restaurant belongs to the Ice Hotel. Located in a former school, in a restored wooden building dating from 1768, the establishment does not lack charm. Its setting, on the banks of the river Torne, in the middle of old traditional houses, as well as its rather traditional menu, make it a choice stop in Jukkasjärvi. The food here is just as good as in the restaurant in front of the hotel, but in a completely different setting. In summer and winter, the place invites you to relax and contemplate. Remember to book well in advance.

It's impossible to pass through Kiruna without stopping at Stejk. A must in the city, it is the locals' favourite food truck. You can eat the classics of fast food: burgers, fries, salads... at reasonable prices given the size of the portions. What's special about Stejk's is the choice of meat: reindeer (suovas) or moose, the traditional way of cooking! The opportunity to taste local products street food version. You can choose to order take-away, or settle down outside in the summer, and in the lavvu in the winter.

200 m from the tourist office, a pub with flags on the main street. It is also a restaurant (steakhouse, pasta, pizza). Really nothing original, but a convenient place to eat on the go without breaking the bank. The place being open relatively late for the city, it might save you if you didn't have time to buy food and you're hungry!
