For example with Baruna (Tel 778 479 162) or Sentosa, departures every quarter of an hour. Count between 25 000 and 40 000 Rps ticket, plus 5 000 Rps boarding tax.

Tanjung Uba is also available on the other side of Bintan.

A taxi from Batam Centre to Telaga Punggur costs 65 000 Rps, in Sekupang about 50 000 Rps. Outside the port area we must be able to negotiate prices. Mikrolet (or Metro Trans as they are called here) connect Telaga Punggur to Nagoya (about 4 000 Rps). A new (blue) bus service was set up recently, the Blue Pilot Project, counting 4 000 Rps between Batam Centre and Sekupang for example.

For the archipelago of Riau and Sumatra. Departures take place from the Terminal terminal, from which Pelni ferries are also flown to other Indonesian islands (Java, Sulawesi or Kalimantan, among others). You go to the terminal by taxi or public bus from Nagoya or Batam Centre.

The port of Pulau Karimun is frequently served, like those of Dumai, the port of Pekanbaru (with Dumai Express, very regular departures, most ferries come from Tanjung Pinang sur Bintan) and Pulau Kundur (Tanjung Batu).
