When one moves away from a few kilometers of Arjuna, an unusual smell takes us to the nostrils: sulphur. A still active volcano spews its smoke. The five temples forming the complex were built in the early th century, culminating in the Hindu culture in Java, and rediscovered thousand years later. Visit of the last lava casting of the 2006 Merapi, to put you chills in the back (you can enter the bunker where burnt burnt three people who thought refuge… in vain). The last lava leak ripped the pine-populated land of Kali Adem and englouti the houses, whose roofs you can no longer see.
