Emma Clair Dumont from the Var region of France has taken on a new challenge. Passionate about sport, meeting new people, the unknown and often even difficulty, she had a lot to say! The result is her book "Aventurière", published by Hachettes. Over a period of nine months, the 44-year-old took the time to delve into her wildest stories, and put them down on paper. It's hard to describe her in just a few words, such is the richness of her background. Emma Clair Dumont has completed 7 marathons on 7 continents, in 7 consecutive days, as part of the World Marathon Challenge. She is also a motorsports champion, having climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in 2009, Mont Blanc in 2010, Mount Acongaua in 2016 and will become the 13th woman to climb Everest in 2022... Her book is just like her: she doesn't give lessons, it's entirely dedicated to sharing:"Just the keys I've found in each of my experiences, to transform my life into a succession of realized dreams with their ups and downs", she says. There's one risk you'll have to take when you open this book: like her, you'll want to move mountains!

"Aventurière", published by City, is on sale in bookshops, at Fnac and on Amazon.
