Ras Al-Khaimah

A superb restaurant with a panoramic platform from which to admire the al Hajjar mountain range! Located at 1,484 metres, as its name suggests, this high-altitude restaurant is the perfect stopover after a hike in the neighbourhood or after taking the world's longest zip line. Installed on the terrace, a small glass of rosé in the hand, a small gravlax of tuna to be tasted, one contemplates the beauty of a landscape too ignored of the Emirates. Unlikely enough to deserve to be listed, since (as any vegetarian who has travelled in the Middle East knows) restaurants without meat on the menu are not common in the region, especially outside the big cities. The menu is not boring though, quite the contrary: the choice is so vast that lucky are those who manage to decide in less than fifteen minutes which dish to order. All the Indian specialities are there. And, to top it all off, the prices are reasonable, even for small budgets.
