PURA VIDA

Brazilian restaurant €€€

The reputation of this Brazilian restaurant is well established: both the service and the food are of 5-star quality. Located at the end of the Hilton resort's beach, you can dine outside in peace and quiet. The menu focuses on meats of exceptional quality, always grilled to perfection in the traditional Brazilian style. Portions are copious, so it's wise to come almost starving. Vegetarians are advised to move on; carnivores, on the other hand, are sure to enjoy their visit.

1484 BY PURO

Panoramic restaurant €€

A superb restaurant with a panoramic platform from which to admire the al Hajjar mountain range! Located at 1,484 metres, as its name suggests, this high-altitude restaurant is the perfect stopover after a hike in the neighbourhood or after taking the world's longest zip line. Installed on the terrace, a small glass of rosé in the hand, a small gravlax of tuna to be tasted, one contemplates the beauty of a landscape too ignored of the Emirates. A few deckchairs allow you to prolong this delicious interlude! Book the weekend.

AL SAHARI

Lebanese restaurant

With a particularly varied menu, this address is very popular with the locals. The dishes are very copious: fish, mutton, chicken, hummus, tabbouleh and to finish off with some very sweet desserts... All the Lebanese classics are there. The chef tends to be a bit heavy on the fat, but no one goes to restaurants in the Levant for a detox diet. Lots of people at meal times, especially on weekends. The furniture is very basic with some black and white pictures. Large parking lot in front of the establishment.

PURE VEG RESTAURANT

Vegetarian Restaurant

Unlikely enough to deserve to be listed, since (as any vegetarian who has travelled in the Middle East knows) restaurants without meat on the menu are not common in the region, especially outside the big cities. The menu is not boring though, quite the contrary: the choice is so vast that lucky are those who manage to decide in less than fifteen minutes which dish to order. All the Indian specialities are there. And, to top it all off, the prices are reasonable, even for small budgets.
