Architectural houses imported by the Persians featuring wind towers, gypsum walls and sculpted ornamentation.

These houses are an example of the architecture imported by the Persians, with their wind towers, gypsum walls and carved interior ornaments. The houses consist of an inner courtyard around which the various rooms are articulated. They probably belonged to a merchant from the Bastakiya region. If you enter house No. 19 during the week, you can observe women doing traditional handicrafts in the morning.
