Located 25 minutes from the centre of Dubai, it is one of the most popular activities among Dubai residents. 3 circuits of 30, 50 and 80 kilometers allow you to pedal in the middle of the desert. It's simply magical. If you don't have a bike, no worries! The small shop located at the start allows you to rent good equipment, helmet included and for the whole family. If you want to venture beyond the 30 km, make sure you have enough water and a fully charged phone. Avoid the hottest hours.

Wolfi bike shop rents and sells high quality bikes for a day or for longer periods if you wish. Every Friday morning, they also organise outings through their group Dubai Roadsters for experienced cyclists. In winter, the departure is at 6.30 am and the minimum distance is 85 km at a speed of 35 km/hour. You can join the group for free provided you call them beforehand and get a map with all your information in case of an accident, available at the shop.

It's a self-service bike rental. Once you download the app, you're all set. Here's the list of locations where you can pick them up: Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Al Barsha, The Greens, Internet City, Media City, Palm Jumeirah, Deira, Downtown Dubai, Jumeirah Beach Road, Dubai Canal, Karama, Mankhool, Al Qudra in the desert. However, you will not be able to cycle around the whole city. It is not possible to use the green running trails and beware of heat stroke during the hot season.
