The skewer is at its price, but what a frame! We are in the sumptuous garden of the hotel, right on the axis of the Burj Khalifa, on the edge of the lake. Arab tents welcome guests in the summer, blue swimming pool and hookahs available. A small treasure to be visited without hesitation even for a simple drink with tapas. Outside, it's at the nearby Argentinean restaurant Asado that you can trust to manage the grill area where succulent pieces of meat are served, and don't forget to keep a small place to try the desserts.

The yacht club is located on the other side of the hotel on the residential side. In a chocolate coloured wooden case, this superb restaurant is nestled in a beautiful setting decorated with numerous photos of Alain Delon, Brigitte Bardot and Sophia Loren (to name but a few) all taken on the Riviera. The setting is idyllic and the terrace has for horizon the skyline of Dubai downtown and the superb yachts of the Marina of the Bulgari hotel. On the plate side, Italy delights us with its risottos and pasta alla vongole. An ultra-refined place far from the hubbub of Dubai.

This is THE signature restaurant of the tropical Sofitel The Palm Dubai, a table popular with all carnivores who demand a special atmosphere at dinner time and a menu of premium meats imported from the best producing countries: grain-fed American beef steak, leg of lamb or kobe beef from Australia, ribs from New Zealand. On sunny days, choose a table on the terrace, even if the room, cosy and warm, is very pleasant.

This concept store and healthy café is very popular with a diverse clientele of expatriates and some locals, serving organic vegetarian cuisine, mostly meatless. For those who just want to take a break from their day, the café offers smoothies with evocative names such as Skin Glow or Skinny Boost. The only thing left to do is to choose where you want to sit: on the beautiful terrace that calls for lazing around, in the designer lounge-style dining room, or on the indoor terrace, which is closed to protect from the heat.

A churrascaria is a culinary tradition originating in Brazil, Portugal and Morocco. It's a restaurant where meats (in Dubai, beef, lamb and chicken) are grilled and served at will by men dressed in traditional garb, known as gauchos. The atmosphere is Latino. A wood fire, or fogueira in Portuguese, lights up the ^35th-floor terrace with its splendid view of the Marina. The view, the ambience, the excellent quality of the meats and the buffets - it's all amazing!

"Always imitated, never equalled", according to the formula of the owner of the Café de Paris, based in Geneva. For it was he, it seems, who inherited the top-secret formula from Boubier, the chef of the Coq d'Or, in the 1940s. A butter made with herbs, spiced to perfection, with no doubt chicken livers and a touch of anchovies, which will also make the fortune of the French. Sliced sirloin, matchstick apples, green sauce, simply delicious. In short, the Entrecôte de Café de Paris is a good address for red meat lovers!

This fish restaurant is run by Jo, a Lebanese from a fishing family in Byblos. He opened his first salmon restaurant in Beirut in 2001. In 2006, he inaugurated Salmontini, a restaurant specializing in home-made smoked salmon. But you can also order sushi. Jo also proposes you to taste the entrecote steak "Saint-Germain des Prés de Paris" with its secret sauce. Finally, the restaurant offers you a unique view of the Dubai ski slope. Something to feast your eyes as well as your taste buds. A classic of the district.

One of the few organic stores in town with a food court. The concept: a nice size convenience store where you can come and fill up on certified organic products. The meal takes place in a simple and warm country style decor to enjoy good breakfasts, salads, 100% organic dishes. The buffet is quick and fun: you can choose from a selection of about twenty dishes made from natural and untreated products. At the end of the meal, a little tour of the store allows you to stock up on small snacks for the rest of the day.

Inspired by street food from all over the world, this casual brunch offers a gourmet version of the most famous street snacks such as Chinese dim sum, Mexican tacos, Arabian shawarma or English fish and chips, in a fun and interactive atmosphere as you sometimes have to get your hands dirty before filling your belly. The highlight of the show, however, is the desserts, where chefs give molecular cooking demonstrations and hand out steaming meringues straight out of liquid nitrogen to customers.

Modern Australian cuisine, understand "international" (Australian meat with Indonesian, Indian and European influence). Good mid-range restaurant, quite fancy, but not too much. The modern setting and live cooking are very nice; the brunch is said to be one of the most family-friendly in town. An a la carte menu of appetizers, entrees and desserts is included in the price, in addition to the large indoor buffet and outdoor barbecue. There are activities for children: cooking lessons, movies, games, magic...

Whatever your favorite dish, you will find it in Bubbalicious. Indeed, this brunch which is rightly among the most popular in Dubai has one of the most extensive food offers in the market. Three of the restaurants in the Westin Mina Seyahi Resort (Blue Orange, Hunters Room and Spice Emporium) are located, where the various stands are fitted with a minute cooked (a total of ten), and the buffets full of victuals. The animation is provided by a magician, acrobats and a group playing music, and children have a reserved corner with what to hold them.

This company offers a 1.5 hour dinner cruise on board a boat with large windows that allow a 360° view from the Marina district. Among the huge offer of boat-cruises and the mediocre quality of many, this one is undoubtedly among the best. The quality of the buffet is good, which is rare in this type of offer. As for the view, you'll pass the BlueWaters Island and the Ain Dubai Wheel, and then head to the Burj Al Arab. On the way back, admire the illuminated towers of the Marina.

Space A4 is a creative place. For a simple coffee break between gallery visits, Moby Japanese offers vegan sushi, pastries, hot drinks and fresh juices to a clientele almost exclusively composed of artists, writers and gallery owners. There is also a shared library and here and there Bean Bags invite the reader. For workaholics, there are desks and free wifi.

It's one of the city's most chic and sought-after spots. Located on the ^77th floor of the hotel, the restaurant is glued to the world's highest infinity pool. This is a restaurant with breathtaking views of the artificial islands of the Palm and Bluewaters and beyond. On the menu, chef Ruediger Lurz has concocted two menus with Asian touches, featuring sushi and sashimi, but not only. An exceptional place that justifies the high prices, as only 120 guests can sit here. One of the city's finest terraces.

Here's a place where you can eat good food! Not pretentious for two pennies. The famous address has moved to the Sea and has left its traditional Dhow to settle on a nice terrace. The seafood ordered is served in buckets, and it is only once you have put on an apron that you can get down to shelling your victuals. "That's Life" in English! Let the restaurant live up to its name: since it opened, everyone is flocking there. Expect three things: chic and trendy people, an exceptional view of the Burj Khalifa and contemporary Asian cuisine led by Chef Howard Ko. Depending on the time of day, there are different atmospheres: Zen-attitude at noon, wild and electric in the evening. The brunch is also a great idea. You can also go there for a drink and to dance until very late at the Sky Bar.

We go there first of all for the superb panoramic terrace which gives on the fountains of the Burj Khalifa. The crowd that invades the tables both inside and outside gets impatient as the taste buds are in a frenzy: Nutella pancakes, French toast with caramelized plums, but also egg casserole, or Benedictine sauce, not to mention the teriyaki salmon. All the cuisines of the world have been invited and consequently all nationalities can be found there, especially the Emiratis. The restaurant is mostly full on weekends from brunch to evening.
