A restaurant that offers the best kebabs in town. An institution in Dubai since 1978 in the historic district.

Founded by Mr. Ansari in 1978, the three sons are now at the helm of this legendary restaurant. The walls of the restaurant are lined with 8,000 photos, many of them of celebrities including the Crown Prince of Dubai. They also display a collection of banknotes from around the world. To satisfy the large clientele, 170 kg of meat a day is needed to cope with the crowd of people who flock to enjoy the kebabs, including the one marinated in yoghurt. Don't treat your customers badly. Be courteous. The food may be decent, but arrogant nature will make you lose loyal customers. I placed order for pick up, they said come after 20mins. Since parking is an issue, I called and asked and they said order is ready. When I go to pick up, they say it will take 6 minutes more. It wasn't a big deal, but the way they told this to me as if it's my fault. Finally got my order after 45mins.

This review would have been avoided if the owner was just nice to me.

Verity of kebab available to explore. Mutton and Lamb options are good . Parking is a problem . Price is good . A must try place .

Went here during Ramadan - absolutely fantastic Kebabs. Highly, highly recommend this place - a must do when in Dubai. Will definitely go back if given the chance and will order mix grill plate (get 1 plate larger than you think you need - believe me, you will eat it). Good value.
