The very chic Michelin-starred Peruvian restaurant from London's Mayfair district opened in Dubai in early 2015 inside the luxurious Four Seasons. It features Peruvian classics revamped and modernized as befits this kind of establishment. The starters are presented in the form of tapas to share. The restaurant is packed every night, and making a reservation is a must. One of our favorite restaurants.

After Wall Street, the bull and bear chose to set up shop in the very heart of DIFC, on the 18th floor of the Waldorf Astoria hotel, with a magnificent view of the Burj Khalifa. The Chef de Cuisine, Luca Domenico Depalo, after spending twelve years in London, was attracted by the Dubai sun. He offers a spicy and creative cuisine full of flavors. We recommend his magical tartar. The beef steaks are famous. The mocktails and cocktails are not lacking in spice! The service is fast and very attentive. In the evening, the atmosphere is light.

On the 31st floor of the Sofitel, right in the middle of the Burj Khalifa and the hustle and bustle of the Downtown district, Inka is a Peruvian-inspired restaurant, intimate and warm in size, with an elegant Art Deco style interior. Light and fresh cuisine based on traditional Peruvian recipes, revisited and dusted off by Lima's native chef Christian Motte. For a cocktail with a panoramic view or a few Latin dance steps, head to the bar-lounge next door, hushed, glamorous, swaying like a salsa and lascivious like a tango.

A churrascaria is a culinary tradition originating in Brazil, Portugal and Morocco. It's a restaurant where meats (in Dubai, beef, lamb and chicken) are grilled and served at will by men dressed in traditional garb, known as gauchos. The atmosphere is Latino. A wood fire, or fogueira in Portuguese, lights up the ^35th-floor terrace with its splendid view of the Marina. The view, the ambience, the excellent quality of the meats and the buffets - it's all amazing!

Within the Grovernor house complex, on the Residence side here is one of the trendiest places to go out dubaio, Toro Toro is a South American restaurant and bar on two floors, right by the marina. It was created by chef Richard Sandoval, an award-winning Mexican. The idea here is to make the meal a festive event, as is the case in Latin America. The most fun is to come together and share tapas, which allows you to taste different flavours. On the first floor, the atmosphere of the lounge is provided by the DJ.

With a name like that, this café couldn't make its home anywhere else but on the very chic Jumeirah Beach Road! Inspired by the beautiful vacation homes of wealthy New Yorkers on Long Island, this three-story café-restaurant serves delicious breakfasts, both sweet and savoury, and makes its own pastries, including the inevitable date pudding! The refined decoration gives the place a relaxed atmosphere that gives the impression of being at a friend's house rather than a restaurant. It is also a must for a brunch.

It is on the rooftop of the Oberoi, on the ^27th floor, that this restaurant is located. Its decoration with vibrant colors immediately sets the tone of the place: Fun, young and at the limit between the lounge and the restaurant. The Mexican cuisine is in the spotlight with very good tacos and nachos with a refined presentation, to which other more Asian inspirations are also mixed. As soon as the sun goes down, we settle down on the very beautiful terrace which offers a superb view on the towers of Downtown. The music is loud, almost too much, but what an atmosphere!

The first restaurant was opened in Madrid in 2010. Amazonico Dubai is the second outside the Iberian Peninsula. What strikes you on entering is the exuberance of the decor, which reflects the rainforest atmosphere imagined by Lazaro Rosa-Violan. On the menu, the chef celebrates the cultural diversity and gastronomic heritage of the Amazon with influences from other neighbouring South American countries. A beautiful bar, a cosmopolitan, young and trendy atmosphere for this restaurant located in the heart of the financial centre.

This is, without a doubt, one of, if not the best Brazilian restaurant in the city! Open only for dinner, there are two atmospheres to choose from: either the superb terrace with a view of the Marina's skyscrapers or inside with a semi-open kitchen that allows you to see the chefs in action. The service (as in all Fairmont hotels) is just exceptional, attentive and really friendly. On the menu, we recommend the Churrasco menu, a Brazilian-style barbecue with long skewers: absolutely delicious!
