ZEST

Near and Middle East cuisine restaurant €€

It's difficult to choose the terrace, even though it is open onto the seigniorial swimming pool and the waters of the Palm, when you discover a room so beautiful, shiny, as if enchanted by the silver reflections, the nuptial white! Do according to the weather and your taste of the moment, but make sure you settle in, because the moment will be memorable: the menu is created by the starred chef Yannick Allieno. Let's set off on a trip to Asia, the Arab world and the shores of the Mediterranean. For dessert, you can choose between smoothies, milkshakes and fresh desserts.

The Dubai International Financial Centre, a nest of banks and investment companies, also presents a different, more festive, gourmet face, in a highly successful New York-style setting. Good value addresses include Cafée Bateel, Au Bon Pain, Caffé Nero, Al Mandaloun (hookahs), Yo Sushi and its electric train, More and Starbucks. The best time to go is at lunchtime, so you can admire the surrounding towers at the same time: a lovely stroll along the tempo City, neck-and-neck at lunchtime with traders in striped suits.

AL SEEF CREEK

Regional cuisine restaurant €€

Al Seef is a new district just a stone's throw from the Iranian district of Al Fahidi. It is a life-size reconstruction of what Dubai was like in the 1950s, with a succession of fishermen's houses, pearl traders, spice sellers, and various restaurants. This district extends for almost 2 km along the Creek and ends with more modern shopping malls. Most of the shops change regularly, but the diversity of the offer will suit all budgets. However, the sale of alcohol is not allowed.

Welcome to Bagatelle, Mediterranean and French restaurant. Here, it is the joy of life that awaits you, that of the chic, flashy and sophisticated Dubai that echoes a Saint-Tropez in the middle of August. The music is loud and the nights are long at Bagatelle, as the audience is carried away by the rhythm of the DJ's turntables. You can also dine there very well around a roasted whole chicken, a tuna tartare or a spicy lobster linguini for example, without forgetting the homemade fries with truffles! Reservation is recommended to avoid disappointment.

DRIFT BEACH

Restaurant provenal €€

What a beautiful beach, what decoration and what service! This very good restaurant with the airs of Mikinos is probably the best address if you want peace and serenity at the seaside away from the noise of the city. The clientele is chic and trendy. The menu honours the Provencal and Nice cuisine. We have lunch under the sun at noon, and in the evening, we slip into a more chic outfit for a meal in a magical setting. A flawless one! Children under 16 years old are not allowed. The music may be a little loud on weekends.
