Read moreCalogero (Claude) Aïello, born in Italy into a family of potters, moved to Vallauris in 1974 and founded a workshop for functional and decorative pottery. Collaborating with young designers to enhance the value of local craft heritage, he earned the nickname of "designer ceramist". His meeting with Ronan Bouroullec marked a turning point, leading to collaborations with Laurent Nicolas and Lehanneur. His workshop has been awarded the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" label.

Here you'll find a wide range of stoneware objects by Joséphine Piffaretti, a former scientist who trained at the Beaux Arts de Céramique in Vallauris. Her style: pure shapes, soft colors and graphic designs. Her creations can be found online and in her studio, in the former stables of the Château des Comtes de Grasse. Modeling and pottery courses are also available on reservation, for individuals, families or small groups.
