TERRES D'ÉVEIL

Organic skincare

The first store of naturopath Rachid Jaafari, a Londoner by adoption (having lived there for 25 years, after training at the École lyonnaise des plantes médicinales), the boutique-workshop is brimming with all kinds of plant-based products: argan oil, honey, essential oils.... He happily shares his knowledge and responds to your needs by making you a "potion" to measure. Like a good teacher, he also offers a workshop on how to make your own organic cosmetics. Terre d'éveil is also a wellness center in the Sofia district, route de Targa.

HAMMAM MOUASSINE

Hammam

Despite its history (it dates back to the 16th century), here you are in a real neighborhood hammam. There's no glamour or decorum, but you'll come out shiny as a whistle! So leave your bathing suit in the basket provided at the entrance and come as you are: naked and uninhibited. On the women's side, after the steam, the exfoliation is sensational and highly professional. The gesture is mastered: neither too strong nor too weak, and the same goes for the application of ghassoul, which leaves the skin soft. An authenticity you won't find in more standardized spas.
