A great atmosphere, a thousand miles from the fashionable addresses of Vitacura, to discover another facet of Chile and drown among a crowd of locals who will not spare you their tribulations.

This fashionable nightclub is moving away from the Latino spirit to offer electronic music inspired by Berlin and European evenings. Sometimes avant-garde, the music is mixed by great Chilean or foreign DJs. The atmosphere is overheated to say the least, the fauna is quickly unleashed in the early evening and the heat can quickly become stifling! You can always escape to the second floor and refresh yourself at the bar. Finally, a small detail that makes the difference: it is the first club in the world to operate entirely thanks to renewable energy!

In this small Latino club, salsa, merengue, bachata and rumba are mainly danced. The dancefloor is accompanied by festive sounds promulgated by a very enthusiastic orchestra! The atmosphere is great and the crowd is sweating on the track. There are also dance classes outside of opening hours, an opportunity for a gentle introduction to Latin dances. Located opposite Plaza Ñuñoa, this university theater is one of Chile's most important theaters. Nicknamed the Teatro UC, it celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2023 and has gone by many different names since its creation. It has two theaters (first and second floor) and welcomes no fewer than 40,000 visitors every year. Visitors can enjoy classical and contemporary works performed by a team of professional actors.

Club Matadero is a cultural and social center located in Santiago de Chile. It is dedicated to the preservation, development and dissemination of Chilean popular culture and heritage. The club regularly stages shows and concerts featuring traditional Chilean music such as cueca, as well as more contemporary musical genres such as cumbia. Beyond the program that is offered, you can enjoy the vast bookstore and the quality temporary exhibitions. There is also a cafeteria, a museum of American folk art and a wine library. Red carpet, imitation velvet bar, mirrors and kitsch atmosphere... El Tunel announces the color and promises parties with wild rhythms. Crowded with students and foreigners, the place is festive and good-natured, we waddle and go wild on hits of the 1970s, disco, electro and more commercial titles. Obviously the reggaeton and other bachata do not escape the playlist of the DJ. We don't see the time passing and we stay there easily until the end of the night! Aim rather Friday and Saturday around 1 am!

The best place in town for jazz lovers.

Salsa, cumbia and merengue are on the program, but also vallenato, the music of the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Numerous concerts, organized especially during the weekend, welcome Latin American artists and well-known names in the field. You won't be able to eat there, the address only offers (alcoholic) drinks. Very nice to go dancing to Latin rhythms, but beware here we do not laugh with this musical attachment so dear to the locals: amateurs, professionals or beginners, you'll have to get on the track!

The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, just like the neighbourhood. You come here for a drink, but you can easily be tempted by the menu, which is good value for money, to stay for dinner. The craft beers are good, the selection is amazing! If you don't know where to start then you can opt for a tasting of 6 different beers (6 x 130 ml). The service is particularly charming and the atmosphere very pleasant. It's easy to drag it out! A good option for a convivial dinner with friends

Located in the bohemian neighborhood of Bellavista, on the way to La Chascona, this pretty little theater is a good landmark if you want to experience Chilean culture. Founded by Chilean actors Gonzalo Valenzuela and Benjamin Vicuña, the theatre hosts a wide range of styles and plays. There are also exhibitions and performances on very current topics such as feminism, sexual freedom, terrorism, etc. The theatre now has three cultural spaces around Santiago.

Inaugurated in 1949, this theatre almost closed its doors at the end of the 2000s. It was bought by a group of individuals, sponsored by the Nescafé brand. Named Marconi and then Providencia, it has hosted major rock concerts, film festivals and classical operas in the past. Today, you can attend a Romeo and Juliet play, discover the country's latest female rappers or admire the country's greatest pianists.
