The Fundación Artesanías de Chile is a non-profit organization based on fair trade and currently benefits 2,300 artisans, 78% of whom live in rural areas and 56% of whom are indigenous. You will find a wide variety of handmade crafts from all over the country: furniture, decoration, goldsmithing, ceramics, fashion... Worth the detour especially since you will participate in the valorization of traditional Chilean crafts.
